  • no drip loops? groundblock? the monopoles are hooked up wrong. wonder if you used bishop tape. thats really old software on the irds. if the ird updated first the hd dvr would never activate with those numbers you need at least 88 or above for the ird to activate. all you sigs were way off. 119=86? 101=94 103=64??? that would never activate with new software. you must have a lot of charge backs. theres no way you dithered that dish. your supposed to run 4 lines down. use a swm next time.
  • DVR one single line coming in.......you are FIREEEEEEEEE

  • unsightly

  • I'm guessing you sir are in fact a contractor. Those signals kinda sucked. No way that would pass by today's standards

  • My company pays by the receiver there for you run the lines needed each time only no " extra" cable or they can pay for it. What do you really think a ground block is going to do? If lightning hits the dish the dish and the roof will be gone anyways. What good is it to "save" the cable left?

  • hello I want to know how many channels are in U.S. directv.

as well as HD and satellite greetings from the end of the world .. chile

  • yeah they didn't want a second line due to where the tv was at. they are aware that some record funtions may/will not work

  • Well they should have purchased an HD receiver and not an HD/DVR. The second line allows them to record another channel while watching a different channel. Without the 2nd line they might as well just have an HD receiever. But they got dough like that huh!

  • Don't know if the new SWM LNB's were available at the time you posted this vid. But you could have used the Slimline Dish with the SWM LNB's because you could have enabled both tuners with a single line for each receiver. Plus the installation would have looked allot cleaner since you would have had to run less cables.

  • No SWM was just being talked about at this time and DirectV choices pre-install what dish they will have. I tried to request SWN and Directv said not to even mention it they didnt qualify. THIS WAS A TEMP/QUICK INSTALL. Grandson had it set up at grandmas for school and planned to take it down begenning this summer when he goes back home.

  • I don't understand.

Are you doing this because you paid for 1 room only and your installing the two for free?

  • I get paid by the Box. There was (1) HDDVR which takes (2) lines, And (1) SD that takes (1)line so that is three lines. If they and a box the next person which wont be me< I only do "new" installs. So I dont worry about that last line why should I do it so they can plug a box in and get paid for all of it. No thanks.

  • oh ya, drop 4 lines too! :P

  • 1. ALWAYS run 4 lines from the KA/KU dish to the cable junction! what if the cust needed another recvr? youd have more labor when you could have saved time and ran the 4th line!

    2. You didnt ground the cables in the junction box outside with a ground block! You just barreled them together! Not up to code!

    3. Your 103C and 99C need to be at least 88% to pass all tests that are out now. The new software in a HR-21 wont allow you to activate the service until you get at least that mcuh signal.

  • Hey this is my first Vid comment good or bad I need to know for my next ones
