  • The problem is your method of building plates.

You need a proper grid across the entire plate, power transfer is nothing to what you will get by building plates correctly. Plate material MUST be as close to the grid as possible for max power.

Follow the web site inst - recover old neg plates from old batteries - uses the grids to build new pos plates. Recover the active material from old pos plates, remove sulfates by charging as a cell.

    Good effort...

  • @NutsBoltsAndVolts Yes, I can see how recovering the old good negative plates is easy, and possibly reusing the grids of the damaged positive ones would be better than the radical thing I did. I ran out of steam on that project. I see what you mean about proximity. In my other experiments I have come to realise how very small chemical and electromagnet forces are in unorganized small demostrations. It is only in getting the accumulation of horses all pulling together that unleashes real power.

  • perhaps you can just send the used battery to a recycling center...

  • Awesome!! That was a good project!! Im rarely interested on videos without girls on it.. buy hey u already got the poles just missing girls for some pole dancing... jk... alrigth kudos for this project

  • @recorptnh Ha Thanks. I haven't watched that in a long while. It gets a lot of hits for such an odd subject.

  • Good job, interesting experiment.
