Jeez guys, don't throw a hissy fit over MB vs BMW. As somebody who drives both on a regular basis, I say that they both are excellent pieces of engineering. Don't poo your pants over a trunk that closes automagically.

@doodydude234 it closes the trunk and locks the whole car so if you need to get sth out of your trunk after you drove you can just press it without pressing any other buttons on your key. Its kinda lazy but its much easier. one click and the whole car is closed.

i just bought a s500 2002 goes 260, its very nice and has so much buttons to adjust everything, comes with gps and verything, bought for 75k

thats possibly the dumbest thing ive seen in my life, if the button was in the front i could see it beign somewhat useful if you get in and realise its still open, but the button in the trunk, when you can just as easily pull it down......what kind of pimple faced 16 yr old designed that car
