Who knew Ralph Sharon is living in Boulder, Colorodo? I thought he'd be in NYC. This video would have 1 million views or more in the world I want to live in.
I met Ralph Sharon in Houston when he was accompanying Tony at the Shamrock Hotel. My date was Lee Wolfberg, Tony's manager, and we all went out after the show to the Show Biz lounge across from the Shamrock. Bobby Doyle, (with Kenny Rogers on bass) were playing after-hours!>
And yes, "I remember you"...you let me sing in your ear and I was sober!!! What nerve I had in my salad days!
CKGATOR could not have said it better. If these people only knew who this man was/is (It kills me). The great Ralph Sharon! If you notice in the beginning, there is one table and a sole guy sitting by the fire who seem to have a clue. I have been playing for 39 years and can not shine his shoes. He is my idol !!!!!!!!! God bless you Ralph!
OMG ... How can you say "Who?" ... this is the GREAT Ralph Sharon .... Aside from backing TONY BENNETT for the last 40 or more years ...... he might have one of the greatest touches in all Jazz Piano ...... go back and find his solo stuff from the 50s ... its spectacular !!!!
Wow, again I watch this and am speechless.

One of the greatest pianists. Long time accompanist for Tony Bennet. He doesn't care that people ignore him, he just loves to play.
