I wana get 3 15" Fi Btls on my truck. Do you recomend an OPTIMA battery for each sub and amp? or why do others put like 8 batteries? I don't get it, why don't they just use optimas instead of so many fucken batteries. Also at how many ohms should they be set up at? Plz answere.

@TitsandFish84 It's a great set up. I'm actually selling mine in about a month or two. But go with the N3's on two of these amps. The amp clips before the subs do :( You'd be surprised how much Fi's can really handle. I do have a new alt that puts a constant 13.5 out so it sounds better and louder. You wouldn't regret getting this! But be careful, My trunk is completely fucked, no wiper, and after 3 months finally got it to open again. And the back passenger window motor snapped out of place :(
@533ren335 subs.. don't clip.. Why do people think this. Only a device that amplifies or alters a signal can "clip". Clipping is when there is not enough voltage to reproduce the full waveform and the resulting waveform has a clipped top and bottom resembling a square wave. A sub cannot clip.
Do you have a battery Isolator? If so how many and whats its power rating? Im asking beacuse i'm going to throw two Kintex power cells in my trunk along with my main optima battery?

@tlee333 The way that's phrased doesn't really make a ton of sense. Haha. But if I understand what you're trying to say, it all just depends on air movement, at least in my experience. As long as air isn't restricted between the port and open cabin space, it shouldn't make any noticeable difference.
@Dainon21 Check out the Fi car audio sight. It explains really well about the BTL's and their intended purposes. Basically, the N1 is the SQ version, the N2 has higher power handling and more SPL, and the N3 has even higher power handling and is pure SPL. At least that's what i picked out. Hope that helps. There's also an N-SG version in developement, which is supposed to be under 50 lbs and be an extreme SPL class sub. Excited to see what Fi comes up with!
How good are those AQ amps? I was looking to get one but I didnt know if there better than Rockford Fosgate. And do they puch out true wattage or feed the FI BTL's enough without distortion?
@Dainon21 I personally havent used AQ amps but theyre the #1 amps I would recommend to anyone. Theyre the BEST bang for the buck on the market right now. They tell you the exact truth. If it says 1200D, it does exactly that on 14.4v. I almost bought a 2200D last month but my friend sold me a kicker zx 2500.1 for $350 so he can add $400 more to that and he actually just ordered the new AQ 3500D last Friday thanks to this man on the vid clarifying some things. This amp does 4300w rms :D
@Dainon21 Also, Yes AQ's can feed BTL's with ease without distorting. Their bassknobs even have a clipping light. Let's say your gain is turned up too high, if the sub distorts/clips, the light on the bassknow will flicker. If youre still thinking about getting this amp, DONT. Just get it and you wont be dissapointed. Research a little more on this amp and youll know what its all about.
Hey does this amp put out a true 4300 rms at 14.4v? I was wondering because my buddy is going to buy 2 aq 220d's instead of 1 aq 3500. Which should he buy? He's ordering the amp(s) for his 2 18" btl n2's coming in next month also. Also if it does push out 4300 rms why dont they just call it a aq 4000d? Thanks, Thumbs upped!
dude i need your help. i have 2005 highlander. i have amp and double installed myself yesterday. i'm missin a subwoofer. would 1 15'' woofer be enough? i'm looking at kicker crv. and then i want a ported box. i'm concerned about the cargo space. i don't want to lose alot. would be 15'' or 12'' be ideal for me?
@ExtraTerrestrials Go with a DC level 4 12"(1000 watts RMS) if you are worried about space and if you get the level 5 coils on the level 4 it would be (1500 watts RMS) but it could handle 2k

I like, nice subs,amp, The batteries look great too, I recommend OHIO Generator High Amp Alternators, if you haven't already ordered one, not sure if they make one for a Toyota but email or call them to make sure.

@533ren335 im running 2 btl 18s in my truck withe the single style magnet...got 1 aq 3500.1 on it right now with 5 kinetik 2000's and a 300 amp alt to keep it powered up...i would have 2 aq amps on it but 1 was robbed from me

I have a new Fi 18" btl N2 still being broken in, hits the lows amzingly, but the enclosure might have helped out a lot! 32 hz. 8 cubes (7.5 cubes after displacement)

@psychopathic2009 Yea, my back windshield wiper is broken haha. it took about 2 weeks for the subs to get here. the amp took a few days. But install took over 8 hours cause they built the box same day so it had to dry. After listening to it so much (to and from school everyday) i've gotten used to it and i want 2 more haha. But the 2 18's and 2 2500's are going to be insane. The 2 15's i have i'm scared that something might break. My sunroof today was flexing pretty bad. So good luck with the 18

I am going with two soundstream rub 2500.1 so each 18" as 2500-3200 rms plus a xs power d3100 batt and a 250 high output alt
