  • Great movie! If only they made more films like this now; a totally believable teen romance with no sex, violence or swearing- and all the better for it! Thanks for posting!

  • I felt like I was gonna cry when I watch this video

  • I cried when I first saw this film at 12 y/o, then at 22 y/o, at 38 y/o, and still, at 43 y/o. If you never shed a tear, or even get misty-eyed, at any time during this film, you're NOT human. I go through a half a box of tissues every single time. This film turned me into a Vivaldi fan.

  • according to Diane, those were real tears! they filmed this scene in sequence, therefore, the director told them to act as if they were really saying goodbye.

    How sweet?!

  • one of my favorite movies. what is the name of this music? does anyone know? i want to play it at my wedding.

  • @catwomanFL72 - the track is by George Delerue , a French film composer. It is based on Vivaldi's Concerto for Lute. Delerue won an Oscar award for his work on the score of this film.

  • @bayoniq

There's lots of good vids here for this piece, called, Guitar Concerto in D, by Antonio Vivaldi

  • I'm an old softie. The ending still makes me teary-eyed. :*)

  • @faeryquene Me too. Fell in love with movie ever since it passed on TV as I was'nt around yet in the 70s to my regret. Btw the actor Thelonious Bernard never made another film & is now a dentist. Its said everytime this film passes on TV his clientel increases LOL.

  • @faeryquene Ditto
