Les Stroud is good to watch when you want a real and educational experience. Bear Grylls is good to watch when you want intense entertainment with mild educational values and some other cool things. Les and Bear are both skilled survivalists, Bear's show focuses more on entertainment value using dangerous and reckless means while Les focuses more on teaching more realistic, safe methods of survival. They both can hold their own in a real survival situation and are knowledgeable but they're ultimately entertainment. I respect both men for what they do but if you want a real survival show that you can learn from try Dual Survival with Dave Canterbury and Cody Lundin. Friday nights on disc ch

All he does is get taken 15 minutes from his ride-out and they leave him with a can of soda...matches, food etc. (basically leave him with a suitcase of supplies and he sits his ass around and bitches for 7 days then walks 15 minutes back to camp.
He is a Bear Grylls wannabe. At least Grylls will show you that he REALLY eats bugs /snakes and grylls actually builds shelters and crosses canyons and repels. Bear=REAL DEAL Survivor man=FAG!

Hypothermia is low core body temperature, and Hyperthermia is high body temperature. The guy in the video got them mixed up and said Hyperthermia instead of hypothermia at 2:45.

Bear is in the end of the day the better survivor NO DOUBT!! this guy has all the resources he needs. His having a holiday camping out in nature. Ive personally gone out to the Australian Outbak and dobe what les does. I actually enjoyed myself. Bear actually goes and looks for civilisation with nothing but a water bottle. The camera crew are ther to fulm him. How do u expect anyone to do wat bear does without a camera crew????

Les Stroud is good to watch when you want a real and educational experience. Bear Grylls is good to watch when you want intense entertainment with mild educational values and some other cool things. They are both great and both their shows are nice. still, i prefer bear grylls as an entertaining program ('cause that's what tv is all about- entertaining.)
