Yeah honestly, it's a great beginner marker. Everybody just kind of follows whoever began making fun of ions or smartparts. Theres really no reason to hate. Half the people who talk down on Ions haven't ever even shot/held one. I've read some pretty hilarious nonsense that people try to say that'll make Ions sound like terrible markers...

well i bought an ion with a black heart board and an eggy off of ebay just so i could try it out to see if it was as bad as everyone said it was. i shot 1 hopper through it before i sold it and bought a dangerous power threshold. they really are no good and have a reason to be hated.

No, I've owned and cleaned an Ion Xe before though. Which is were they fixed that problem with the bolt out back. Cleaning the Xe was a piece of cake. Actually the reg has mixed reviews, I was lucky enough to get a good one. For the other issues, it's a cheap beginner gun. What do you expect to get for that price?

Aaronbow, I just really don't see how you can bash it. I guess it's personal preference but maybe you'd realize that it shoots great if you thought about how cheap you got it for.

i got eggy 3 and eggy 2 and love them. but im interested in picking up a VL just to see the difference. and plus you shoulda used real balls, cuz the VLocity sucks with reballs, everyone knows that. so people should only consider this if theyre playing reball.

the vlocity is horrible for reballs, because the small bore size of the reballs always causes them to jam the loader; but when it comes to regular sized paintballs, vlocity wins anyday

For sure, i use my vlocity everytime i play. Eggy is my backup. Its just i found with my modifications the eggy seemed to outwork the vlocity with reballs.

If it's Reball, You DON'T worry about popping a paintball by souping in ur hopper. If the Vlocity is in mode 8, it would waste that egg.

mode does not change speed, only ball stack tension. Haveing it on setting 8 would only increase out-of-the-gate speed.

yeah. vlocity's r amazing, just picked 1 up, i thought something was missing when i held it because of how unbelievably light they are, and reballs dont really slow them down, they just drain the battery cause u gotta put it on force 8 for best performance, i still love it though

i would say its likely it wont. Its pretty thick. I dont have the stock feedneck as you can see. So i would recomend getting a clamping one.

idk it seems that both hoppers were studdering, due to the board or something else. If you watch drop tests they are both very consistent. The revolution however feeds in bursts.

Well its up to you really. Vlocity is faster stock but the Jr is lighter. If you want you can just get the Vlocity Jr and you need it faster then you can just get the Gangstar chip.

Well, unless you only play reball, I would still rather go with te vlocity. It also depends on the texture of the reballs if they will have a jamming problem. I ahve to constantly lube my reballs so they dont stick to the bottom of raceway.

I actually got my vlocity already and i found the eggy to be slightly more consistant with the reballs. Of course with paint i know the velocity will pwn it. But if you reball i found eggy to be a bit more reliable.

Covanantpaintball-Well i personally like the looks. Some dont but i do. The front comes to a pretty sharp point which i think looks pretty cool. Definitly the fastest stock loader out there, except pulse. The adjustable force feed is really a nice touch because my detents are old and worn so i cant put too much force on them. So far i would recomend it. I just have to use it in game and we will see.
