The police car was actually just the car KLF used and has nothing do with the blues brothers plus the cars are different as the one KLF used was a 1968 Ford Galaxy 500 V8 while the blues brothers used an old 1974 Dodge Monaco. Though both look amazing and you always want to drive them!

He basically said this track was a complete money-making excercise to prove how easy it was to have a number one. Hence the later KLF book. The NME and the Melody Maker were well narked by this, cos they like to see bands struggle, then they decide they can get some coverage. Drummond and Jimmy Cauty avoided all the bullshit and became successful without their approval!
