  • my son also has autism and repeats :The dragon warrior" over and over...he also responds to questions with the dragon warrior. it has no revelance to what was asked...he just uses echolalia as a way to speak because its comforting or he doesnt understand what we expect him to say in return so he resorts to a learned phrase in response. im just glad hes speaking because when he was around 2 or 3 we feared hed never talk. love this video btw, hes adorable.

  • @ediself - It is EASY as parents to be too close to see. Aiden has no real communication at all - but it took my husband and I until Aiden was over 3 to really start putting the pieces together-
