Seth Useful Combo Exhibition

One of my favorite combos is FAlvl2, Dash, LP Tanden, cr.HP, j.MP, EX SRK, EX Tanden, cr.HP, j.MP, EX SRK, Ultra 2. It looks really flashy and it's easy as hell to do. Only works on certain characters though.

hey the combo at 4:50, i have trouble executing the 'tapping kicks' after the 'lighting kicks'. any tips?

@cheeZOOTZ In case you're still having trouble, it's all just practising the timing. since arcade edition the timings been a little harder though, especialy on a few characters like cammy, so make sure to practise on a more standard hitbox character (such as Ryu) first.

@haaardstyle Yep, it is. It's a 1 frame link though so it's easiest to plink c.lp with c.mp too - as 1 frame links go the timing isn't too bad though and the damage is worth it when you get used to it.

Have you ever come across this "glitch" before? When you c. FP > ultra, the first part of the ultra (when they are spinning inside of Seth) does no damage? This seems to happen all the time on the first players side but ONLY sometimes on the second player side. If you do the c. FP> ultra after EX engine the ultra doesn't seem to have the same problem.

@FlamingoCocktail Yeah, it's quite well known, it happens when you ultra too soon after c.hp. If you wait a secon then ultra it will do full damage. A bigger problem with this glitch is that it also occurs sometimes when your opponent is hit by a sonic boom after being pushed back by the ultra, which is a situation that happens a lot as sonic booms are a great way of baiting your opponent in to jumping.

Yeah, that's just Seth, you can't really make mistakes. He can be a hard character to play at first because of this, but keep going and you'll find you start making less mistakes and doing better.
