ah.. been looking around some. and it seems alot of motörhead albums has been released as "Deluxe Edition". damn. have to buy all records again it seems but in the Deluxe Edition hahah
This was the first version i heard of this song and I was racking my brain trying to figure out who it was. Eddie doesn`t do the gravelly voice thing in step down...so i thought it was the "If you wanna war" guy from venom
Thanks for showing me who the singer was in this version
Prolly my favorite Motörhead song - the guitar solos in this song doesn't slow the song down at all, or feel "inserted" like a lot of bands' guitar solos. They keep the song moving.
YES,Lemmy DOES sing this song on the original BOMBER album, but as i said before this is a version sang by Fast Eddie Clarke, which was actually NOT the original Motorhead guitarrist, but the 2nd.Motorhead 1st Guitarrist was LARRY WALLYS,and we can hear him on the 1st album ON PAROLE,also Lemmy's voice is quite different in this album and we can also find/listen to Motorhead's first drummer:LUCAS FOX.Lucas&Larry got fired after that album.PHILTY ANIMAL TAYLOR joined in 1977,as did Fast Eddie Clarke
RAW FUCKIN' DIRTY ROCK'N'ROLL,Great song, like all Motorheads songs!...and by the way, this is a rare version sang by the great "bluesy" original Motorhead Guitarrist FAST EDDIE CLARKE!
This is an out take from The Bomber Sessions with Eddie singing on it. It's available as a bonus track on some Motorhead discs and is featured on The "Golden Years-Rarities" CD as well.
Very good Eddie.

I just listened to it on Rhapsody, and ur definitely right, this is NOT Lemmy singing. Apparently this video is a cover version.
kennywallace89 4 years ago
It's actually the exact music, but probably a karaoke type thing.
MickeyLove01 4 years ago
Not a cover, it is original version...
MateuszW1990 4 years ago
there's no way, if you listen to the studio version and then this the difference is obvious.

Wow... Lemmy don't sound like himself anyway. Was that song made when he was younger or what?
