I played my computer as dutch I'm doing world domination I'm at year 1769 I think I have about 30 regions and I toke out French then spain then great Britain ,Poland Venice genea and many more I control about 1 4th Or maybe 1 3rd of Europe and I only have to regions in America and 1 in Indian. So 27 in Europe

You made two major errors in your first turn 1 keep the far east fleet were it is 2 take out the pirates quick but keep em both as military ship yards n pump out fluyghts then take over the trade theaters you will have a complete monopoly of trade and global sea dominance in no time at all due to the massive amount of gold you will be geting every turn no one will stand a chance as you can not only afford huge armies but with the sea dominance you can move then anywhere at will

Are the Dutch a Monarchy or a Republic at this point?

@TheIndependent09 They'll only become a republic if you force a rebellion. They've never been a republic so you start as a monarchy.

@Woutorius You should re-examine your history-books I guess, because at that time, the Netherlands formed the Dutch Republic. The Dutch Republic is hence the only faction in ETW that starts as a republic.

@Highollow hmm I didn't know that. Now I do lol. It seems the Batavian republic was 'created' 1795 and before that it was the Republic of the seven united netherlands. So 2 dutch republics I never knew about.

mate what system are you playing this on ? I need a new laptop to play this on when I attend Early Modern Europe lectures at college. Can't wait to sit at the back of lectures and fight the battles the professor is talking about.

@TheQotsaRules You're gonna need a pretty badass laptop if you want to play this on acceptable graphics... It's recommendations are quite high, and if you go below that, your FPS and graphics drop dramatically..

Hard campaign easy battle not so good fighting yet but next campaign will i try on hard
