@ForzaAquila If he had tried to get to the back seat and kill her, yes, he could have tried to position himself in order to sit in the back and attempt to do it.

But still, the way he was standing made the momentum impossible for him to actually do it, plus the fact he can only turn to solid entirely not independent limbs, as seen before with the door scene.

@Blavits They were only invulnerable as long as they went transparent before getting hit.

Take the shot up arm scene for example, they can get hurt if they don't know what's coming. And with the car blowing up scene, they had no idea it was going to blow. I mean really, how could they? The thing turned over thus blocking Morpheus out of view, and they couldn't tell what he was even doing.
