@TriFF51 I agree with you she is a great player with a nice personality, but there's nothing about her that really intrigues me, I'm not talking just about looks, but also her game, she's doing great right now in NY, but I don't have any urge to watch her matches,I am thinking about putting a new list on though, because Vaidisova no longer plays+I'm a big fan of just the top 3 woman on the list and opinions about players do change over time, I'll see, I definitely need to make a mens list also

@zkranc I have to agree with you on Clijsters. She has a nice personality, very pleasant, plays well...however, there is really nothing about her overall that would merit an urge for me to watch her games. Too bad, the Williams sisters did not make your list. The Williams, Henin, Sharapova, Clijsters & a few others have made tennis games a joy to watch! Sharapova, with her stunning beauty, Ivanovic, beautiful as well, Henin, tiny but so feisty, Serena & Venus so imposing. I love tennis!

I just couldn't help noticing that the two best female tennis players Venus and Serena Williams were not there and this strikes me as odd as you claim to not be choosing purely on looks.(I am not say they aren't pretty) However I respect your opinion.

they're both great players no doubt, but they never really intrigued me. I'm usually rooting for the underdog and actually always root against them xD
