@sweetdwhite its cheesy and a war story. Very unlike this. The only thing this series took from the original was the idea of focusing episodes on people in the world. They also borrowed the idea of not flushing out the world, but where in the original it was not really an issue here I can't help but think explaining why there are GIANT MICROPHONES in the desert would have been more interesting than Janice getting to sing at a castle and the makers going RINGO IS CRYING, CRY DAMMIT

I found the anime rather slow in some parts, but is old and I believe old things tend to be slower...sumary we watch series that have a very fast succession of events... thus the feeling. But it has very cool fights and situations were you have to think deep. I think the best of it is the sound effects

One thing I've got to say about this anime, I like the concept but it would have worked better with an anime other than a remake of Neo-Human Casshern. Casshern is supposed to be a superhero in a suoerhero story, not a mechanism in a Pre-Apocalyptic anime. I like the story and concept, just not the fact that they turned Casshern into this, but you know what can I do the anime's already done being produced and I have no power in the world of anime.

The artwork in this opening is just so nice, it's like the contemporary art in the Smithsonian, believe me I've seen that art and this looks alot like it, one beautiful opening with a nice song that belongs in that museum as well.
