anyway, a comment on Max's statements about a centralized accounting system provided by the Treasury...because we had a lengthy discussion with him on the subject. My problem with it is that any "centralized" system is a monopoly by nature and in a monopolistic system there exists ZERO accountability. So a system such as the one he describes is just as vulnerable to manipulation and foul play as the one we have now.
