  • Very nice design. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if you change the configuration of the weight balance in the middle, say in the same plane as the frame would that make it a little more stable. It's great but I see a little wobble, just a bit.

  • Fantastic ... Thanks .....

How did you attach the left and right cross members in your version 2.0.6 ?

  • HI TIM. HOW WHAT PART NUMBERS DO YOU USE TO BUILD THAT STEADICAM.

I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD ONE HERE IN THE USA?

    THANKS.

  • where can I buy this ?

  • When do you go into production ?

  • insane Work. Thanks for posting! will make my own this way!

  • best balanced ever I wish i could make exact like U

  • Nice

  • beautiful. get excited watching. just built the gimbal handle myself , er thanks to alot of help from you and wsclater. great demo vid. my father was a paternmaker (incredible carpentry skills) he suggested wood. i'm still leaning to aluminium. watching your rig, he is saying "told you so" anyway thanks a ton. can't wait to give it a go. takes a bit of a dancers skill to make the moves it requires i am sure. thanks again

  • Greetings from Greece ... very nice work , I also have the Sanyo HD1010.

But still, I think that by adding at one conventional tripod, some assisting gear ( converting it to steadycam lever ) its more worthy .. and practical.

At list for easy panning .

I will experiment and learn eventually , there is no other way :-)

At list I am good with tools...

  • i want one please.

  • Hi Tim,

Have you ever posted a comprehensive and well detailed buling instruction for this great piece? Have you any idea how to start?

    Greets from germany.

  • could you possibly make a tutorial for this?

    or do you sell this?

  • Very impressive! I can't tell you are even walking... Is your walk stride different from normal to achieve this smoothness?

  • Ah, one more thing, I really like the special effects in this video, how did you do it?

  • Thank you for the comment- twice!!

I used iMovie '09 for the video editing.

The still pictures some are prepared in the scene of the explanation, and I created a slide show.

    Is this correct?

  • Great diy Steadicam, footage is very smooth, well done.

  • Hello!, It was fantastic! : D,,has a large horizontal.

Steadicam and design is very nice

A big congratulations and greetings from Mexico . your friend ccbravo78.. :D
