  • one thing is for sure. Grapplers wouldn't survive; a tiger attack, a lion attack, and grizzly attack, and a gang attack. Fighters have a chance to beat all that though.

  • mma is not a fighting style. it is a grappling style. fighting and grappling r two different things.

  • i mean it like you can see both fighters want to fight in their fighting style i dont mean it litteraly.Buawkaw is a thai fighter and the other guy well i guess a mma fighter,to do a take down u gotta get close to a person and since buawkaw clinches immediately when someone is close its kinda hard to take down. And i think he would fight his way out and not just give up like that buawkaw. Why i think so is because im a thaiboxer myself and i train with mma fighters too they go for the takedown

  • this was muay thai vs mma and guess what muay thai wins of course, thats why its the most feared and respected sports of all time

  • @Ztevenization It was not muay thai vs mma ^^ if it would be then imada would have took buakaw down and submitted him . I'm a huge fan of buakaw but do you understand what mma is ??? ( and yes i know i have a bad english ^^ )

  • @JudoMMA1 and since i gotta good push kick i keep the distance and give out the beating in stead of clinching.I live in holland we got the best kickboxers around and mma fighters check out allistar overeem the champion of mma and k1 at the moment so i do know what mma is about. And mma fighters are ground fighters i use tactics because i know they want to take down thats why i keep pressure and dont give a chance keep kicking on the guard, that makes the person tired and they dro the guard easier

  • @Ztevenization Yea that's right but a lot of very good strikers were took down and submitted even if they tried to keep the fight up , and alistair is also a very good grappler thats the reason because he's not easy to take down. Strikers who don't know how grappling is working ( like buakaw ) are going to have a tough time if they have to fight a grappler

  • @JudoMMA1 thats why k1 is called k1 and have their own rules and thats why mma has their own rules,2 different fighting styles k1 is stand up fighting and mma is more focus on the grappeling. But just because a fighter is not trained to take down doesnt mean he is gonns lose just because another person knows how to take down someone, a person like buawkaw would put up a good fight.I train muay thai in holland and we train with mma fighters too, they always look for the take down

  • @JudoMMA1 because on the floor thats more their thing thats where most of their strenght are.MT not we are stand up fighters i had allot of times they wanna grab my legs to takedown but i keep the knee guard up with that guard up its hard to tell which move is gonna be the next. But its all about a fighter himself u know,i cant speak out and say every fighter this and that or muay thai this and that mma this and that.Thats personal for everyone, everyone has his own fighting style

  • @JudoMMA1 and yes maybe buawkaw would have a tough time on the floor against a mma but i think a mma fighter would have a tough time in a muay thai match against buawkaw wouldnt you think?so its 50/50 it depends on which rules is fought under

  • @Ztevenization that's right

  • OMG, Buakaw's legs just like knifes.

  • and buakaw would've ezed imada iwith elbow strikes and clinches, n full muay thai rules, so gf UnworthyBaldHead.

  • semifinal better fight ;)

  • r.i.p left leg 8:00 for the finish move

  • @ballmmax and u ultra NOOB : )

  • imada's; left thigh, left knee, and left leg must've been very numb that night.

  • imada been watching and playing too much wrestling games, lmfao! that sht don't work in rl.

  • ufc and mma fans, it is how experienced the fighter is, not the style, so gg bishes who think grappling is da shet.

  • it is great to c muay thai ez mma, becuz all those ufc and mma fans think muay thai cant beat mma and ufc.

  • watch top muay thai fighter buakaw ez top mma fighter, buakaw vs imada. gg mma and ufc fans, with all ur bullshet big talks.

  • @N1ceV1d You realize that this is not mma right? Because if it was, Imada would grapplefuck the shit out of Buakaw.

  • last kick is very very strong.!!!!

Toby Imada

  • MaTher Fuck Toby

    Why you fight this 6.31

    you boxing muay thai????

    or you UFC...FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iZe000aM hey bro, It's new to me too, but this is shoot boxing. Standing Submission and throws are allowed. You just have to laugh. Toby hurt himself more than anything else at 6:31 Look closely. He jumps, spins and smashes his own face on the ground so hard. HAHAHAHA

  • not safe to have heart, buecuz ur going to be a punching bag for buakaw only anyway.

  • I'm Thai

    Respect Toby Imada heart

if no boxing glove or use MMA glove like UFC

    Toby can win in 6:31

but if Buakaw on glove too Toby go to dangerous

Muay Thai has a throw, submission with and with out glove

everybody should learn Muay Thai arts not a sport (a sport fight with glove)

you can see a lot of throw move and submission in Muay Thai scripture

but it very dangerous to use on sport and teach to foreigner

that why we used boxing glove

  • Super fight. Great show. Buakaw kicked him so hard. I bet his leg is broken. Man I missed this fight before.

  • imada and shishido r not brave, but really really stupid.

  • @N1ceV1d are you fucking blind? imada has a heart of an elephant. this guy got back up more than i can count. ur the really really stupid one.

  • lol, ufc and mma fighters will nvr escape buakaw's hugs of death

  • @N1ceV1d What exactly do you mean by "UFC and MMA fighters" ???

  • Toby Imada:

    Toby Imada: ....

  • Respect Imada 's brave heart, I'm thai.

    Samattapol

  • They're good warrior.....

  • I have so much respect for Imada. He's a true warrior. Even in the face of a serious injury, he kept getting back up. Good run, Imada!

  • if imada was smart, he would of quit right after he knew he already lost, just made himself look bad by trying and getting beat down again and again

  • Imada´s heart is unbelievable !

stand up although u know u got no chance is real sport !

  • Buakaw , he is very great wow !!!

  • @LightxKira5643 You really can't call it Americanized Martial Arts.

Mixed Style of fighting competitions go further back to BRAZIL's Vale Tudo competitions.

Then even further back to Ancient Greece's Pankration matches of the Ancient Olympics. Your acting like Americans were the first to do it.

It's a sport where people can come along and use their martial arts together. Quit comparing the two.

  • @Th3NewDragon thankyou please say it again NOTHING STARTED IN AMERICA!!!

  • @Kingpinn24 I'm American and I agree

  • 6:31 HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA WTFFFF LOOOLL

  • @prayeer Standing submissions are allowed in shootboxing. If he had twisted Buakaw's foot far enough before landing, Imada would've won the match. And if not, one can always hope to cause an injury.

I mean, he also was given a win over Andy Souwer just because of two or three throws. Shootboxing ranks those as a full point each, so you can defeat someone ten times as skilled by just throwing them down once or twice.

  • @prayeer ahahahahahahaahahhaa

  • they don't let buakaw do his combos anymore; clinch and infinity knees, infinity straight push kicks, and infinity round kicks, they r fkn feggots, all the places buakaw goes too, they don't allow him to show his true skills, only he is allowed to do 1 or 3 hit combos now, fkn douche bags!!!

  • @N1ceV1d I know ey? they like change the whole rule just for buakaw.. be it K1 tournament or what ever.... its kinda unfair. buakaw should try out MMA

  • basically, if ur arms r bigger than ur legs, u will not be going against fighters like buakaw's size and weight, u will kick too slow, and mainly hope for ur slow gorilla punch swings that have 50% chance fail every try, to win for u, but sadly, bigger guys suck against medium size guys, even small size guys, in muay thai fights, because, that's just how it is, if ur arms r normal, and not gorilla-like, ur kicks will be more devastating, even alain knows this

  • 2:10 look how him shoot 8D

  • 4:45 - "This guy is a noob, he's on the guy crying just by me kicking him in the leg even though I'm half assing it and leaving openings purposely"

  • Watching Buakaw, it looks like he's casually fighting.

  • @LightxKira5643 That has everything to do with Imada's previous opponent: Andy Souwer. Souwer totally destroyed him. It's amazing Imada even lasted this long.

  • Buakaw is a great kicker, likely the best k1 has seen, but Masato said Souwer's low kicks hurt more. He would know, he's had his ass kicked by both Buakaw and Souwer :P

  • @tahmedmint That's the Monkhol, a bit of superstition, meant to bring good fortune. Sometimes they get a monk to 'bless it' or the teacher of the fighter (kru) does it instead.

Buakaw's signals he's from the central plains. All foreigners also use this model of monkhol though.

  • that low kick of buakaw..........must REALLY hurt......damn......like an iron stick

  • @blackxspower Muay Thai kicks aren't like Iron , they are like whips

  • @shark6tangoo

    ..made from steel,yeah...

  • Watching this i think buakaw could be successful in mma.

  • @blackwhirlwind MMA is crap, he could be successful? Who would want to be successful in that rubbish.

  • @LightxKira5643 Your quite clearly an intelligent person. Anyone who's a martial artist should know to respect every form of fighting. MMA is the fastest growing combat sport for a reason :L K1 is equally good, thai boxing is equally good etc. You should learn that =)

  • @LightxKira5643 Obvious troll is obvious

  • @Darce223 Not really, but I said rubbish (lol)

    MMA > americanized martial art

    Real Martial arts > MMA

I do jiu long pai kung fu and we do some wing chun techniques and a lot of physical training that makes you want to pass out yet it never happens and they teach us effective ones mainly. Though they do teach us forms and stuff, they show us how they can be effective individually and not just "do the forms" since forms are kinda important but one can't ONLY do forms.

  • ahahahah foot lock?!?! ahahha

  • block! toby block! ??

  • i feel sorry for Toby , that was really hurt.Good job Buakaw

  • fail 6:31

  • Buakaw can probably chop down a tree with those leg kicks. Wtf!

  • fukin beat down

  • tony imaba so stupid!!!!

  • I don't know how Toby got to where he is and get to fight with Buakaw. It seem like he doesn't know how to kick and just depend on his ability of boxing. I feel bad for Toby, but still Buakaw is a machine. Happy for Buakaw. #1

  • wtff imada triet to do a flying heel hook @ 6:31

  • Canelada sinistra demais...

  • I've not yet watched any fights other than Buakaw's in the 2010 S-Cup, but I cannot fathom how this guy got past Souwer...

  • @MAS4T0 lol imada took the tournament on like 3 days notice. how funny is that?

  • @MAS4T0 lulz he destroyed him with throws

  • I like this shoot boxing. It gives grapplers a good option (throws) while also eliminating the ground fighting that tends to slow down fights too much, and gives too much emphasis to wrestling.

  • Imada is a warrior... But not too smart if he wants a long career.
