Perhaps a series based on this will kind of make it feel less like an alternate reality or a "what-if" and de-emphasize the very deep meaning behind the way the canon continuity played out. I do think it would be an amusing series, but I understand how you feel.

The show was kind of a dumper, i didn't get it at the end of "The end of Evangelion" He just wakes up on a beach with Auska sitting next to him. I don't get it are they supposed to repopulate the earth or something. But the new movie looks way cool. But why can't they use old fashion anime from the late 80's and 90's.

Well.. I read manga GirlFrein of Stell. And this is alternative verision of serial so maybe The Rebuild of Evangelion base on this manga. And manga starts that....

yeah u might wanna go look that up on wikipedia. Its the same story line with different picture and new effects. The 4th is a completely new ending to the end of evangelion. Its also rumored the 4th will show what happened after the ending of The end of Evangelion
