Rate of fire makes up for lack of power, enough bullets per clip to get 2-3 good kills. Acog a bit hard at long range due to sway, but still with steady aim and sleight of hand you can still pump lead fast and accurately.

@Cristianmanda98 u realise that there is no such thing as an M4a2 right? The original "M4 carbine" was the carbine version of the M16a2. The M4a1 has a fully automatic fire capability while the original M4 only has a burst feature. Look it up for yourself.

I don't understand why infinity ward didn't keep the iron sights from the m4 in cod4. I hate the iron sights in mw2 and mw3. The flip up sights make it look gay there are no mil spec m4s with those sights. I always use alternate optics with it because the iron sights annoy me so much.

@jrapcdaikari the m4 has always been a beast but it was best in cod 4 when it had m16 iron sights now the irons are kinda crappy especially in mw3 for some reason even though i think their the same i hate the irons more in mw3 but in mw2 i liked scavenger pro coldblooded pro and steady aim (whenever i wanted silent footsteps i would just ads or crouch and i used dual desert eagles all the time)
