It's a shame that I heard so many adverse things about Amy in life that I couldn't even concentrate on her style. This young woman was very talented. A little younger than my generation but I can see why she was loved by so many. She was pretty much one of a kind that didn't seem to be trying to be different, just was. I love this. Thanks...this confirms a raw talent here!

In a world of musical sell outs Amy was the one shining exception. She did the music she loved with great respect for the music of the past. She magically made them all new again. It makes me so happy to see that so many others understand how wonderful she was. She has made a massive impact on music for listeners of many generations.

Amy so geniusly and respectfully borrowed other influences in her background music that speak directly to those who understand. With great respect, genius and originality she did it. And her voice and style are all her own and fabulous. I'm a little new to Amy but I am discovering so much. Just thought I'd add...you said it best ; D
