I absoloutley Love Kingdom Hearts, It is my favorite game.. But Honestly.. It has never, not even once, made me cry. These "sad moments" just aren't sad to me.... The only thing in the entire series that ever made me feel sympathy, and sorrow, was Xion's fate.. To be forgotten is a fate worse than death.

@Emixsal It's because the Kingdom Hearts series Emphasizes the theme of "Friendship". Like it is some Sacred bond of love and harmony, that links everyone together... To me that is just over exaggerated, to have such heavy tones of love, and trust smothered by the label of "Friendship".. just kinda.. ruins it for me. And that's just my opinion. I don't find it sad. And I'm not a lifeless "Emo"... I love the game. I love the story. I just know for a fact that it will never make me cry.

But the whole sorry Sora scene is from where Riku and Sora kind clash, and the keyblade chooses the rightful owner, Riku. He was supposed to get it in the first place, but he was corrupt and Sora took his place. Anyways, when Riku takes the keyblade, Donald and Goofy are forced to follow him instead of Sora. All because the king told them to.

IMO Kingdom Hearts is trying to promote the disney films so that way we can remember our childhood films. And WOW it worked for me. I've been watching (besides Pirates of the Caribbean) Peter Pan, Tarzan, Aladdin, and my favourite disney film ever, The Sword and the Stone.
