Moksha is EARNED, not given, and that is the essential difference between Moksha & Heaven. One can beg for Gods mercy, grovel like a dog, and then be allowed to taste the pleasures of a flesh-pot heaven, but one cant beg for Moksha, because Enlightenment is acquired thru knowledge. The bible says fear the one who casts both soul and body in to hell. (JESUS) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. It is not like we are shaking and sweating everyday that our God will cast us into hell. It is amazing we didn't even save ourselves from hell. he came and rescued us.

Fundamentalism means the literal interpretation of scripture and results in a very narrow interpretation of God as exclusive and angry. What people experience in near death experiences is that God is not angry, however, this does not follow that there are no consequences for our action as people do have hellish experiences. The word "shall" is used in New Catholic Version and "will" is used in New Int. Version, but that not the point here. The point is the focus on forgiveness of sins: "every sin shall/will be forgiven" is we know the/our Holy Spirit (soul in Greek). The Blasphemy test here is much more wide than the Gate your propose AND there is no mention of Jesus, just Holy Spirit. "If you simply ask Jesus to save you" is not part of the test - it simply focuses on the Holy Spirit, weather we know our soul.

NDE research points towards the idea of purgatory and that hell is not forever. The painful life-review which happens outside time and space may feel like a life time but the research suggests that the longer you stay the more positive the experience becomes.

God has even up and killed people before. He is in fact easily angered. God is forgiving and merciful, but many thousands have met their doom by kindleing his anger.

The question title to this video is a bit misleading and muddy. It's asking if Gods nature is continual anger, and of course it isn't. The Bible teaches God is Love, but also has accounts of God and Christ being angered by harmful and cruel behaviour. Any Loving and wise God would be angry at cruelty and abuse occurring and if it was continual without repentance then it would be loving to destroy and end that cruelty or perversion continuing to harm the innocent.

As I explained below: people do have negative, hell-like experiences BUT God does not punish, and Thus God is not Angry.

Just as the Bible says, NDErs testify that God is Love, However, they go further by saying God is not angry: The 'punishment' is more a Consequence of our free will. Thus 'sinners' cause their own pain by getting lost - rather than God being angry and doing the punishing. God is love - sin is separation from God.

I disagree with the view that God or the higher consciousness of life is always only just love. Any Loving being would be opposed to rape, murder, perversion and abuse. Jesus also taught we reap what we sow, this teaching is also found in other religions, there are definite cosmic consequences to harmful deeds God has set in place these laws. This is to be understood in dualistic terms: God is always love but we can choose to separate ourselves from this love, and thus suffer the consequences. In the hellish experiences of NDE's I have heard of there is no life-review. Life-review seems to be a gift which comes if you are capable of repentance and to bear your errors. Assuming the life review is the only consequence may be a false assumption. Several hellish NDE's enter into total darkness or hell and they all say that they knew it would be eternal. God doesn't allow "sin" or evil to enter heaven so in that sense God banishes and rejects the impure heart by being holy and love.

Regarding experiences of actual torment and flames being cultural programming, it doesn't seem like it, as the cases of buddhist and hindu also include hell and places of torment very similar to the Bibles description of hell. In fact buddha goes into more detail about the torments of hell than Jesus did in some of his teaching. Most of the Thai examples don't include the light and they enter hell first and meet with the lord of death, it doesn't sound too positive, sounds like God disconnect

Yes, both cultures have the concept of hell, but they are not very similar rather different to the specific culture. I am not saying that there is no pain (hell to you), but rather that exactly how or what this looks like changes according to culture, and therefore, must be regarded relative to some extend.

However, (here comes the point) the pain of the negative life-review ("hell") seems more to be a Consequence than a punishment. NDE research suggests that the pain is a consequence of separation from God, but God does not do the punishing.
