Mitt is a wholesome, slightly nerdy, introverted guy. He adores his wife and family. He does not drink or smoke. Americans are always looking for a bravado president. How well do they turn out? The back-to-back extrovert twins, W. Bush and Obama, have been disasters. It's time we have an introvert for a president, a manager-in-chief, who is, yes, methodical and orderly and maybe, gosh, a bit hokey. Those are the traits that will save the republic, not partisan idealism anymore.
Why is Mitt Romney's polite banter being met with such disdain by people on here? The same neat, well-groomed appearance and unabashed, almost child-like friendliness is mindful of much admired straight-lace figures like Kyle Machlachlan's character from Twin Peaks or even Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Those role models are beloved. Yet when the same facets re-appear in a politician, everybody cries fraud. Cynical a bit, are we?
This video is incredible. It's almost unreal. I feel like the street is small set, complete with apathetic citizens leaning against stop signs and a parked GTO convertible for Mitt to admire. It's brilliant. It's beyond brilliant. It's great entertainment. This is one for the ages.
Funny! I don't see anything staged. It's a nice man being nice to people on the street. And not being afraid to just go up to them. What do you want him to say? Really? They're complete strangers. He addresses them respectfully and the way any respectful person should.
You don't see anything staged? You think he would just randomly do this without cameras filming him? Mitt Romney is a panderer and the epitome of a flip-flopper No principles or core convictions.

OBAMNEY!
Between January and September 2011, Mitt Romney's Bain Capital gave Barack Obama $27,500!
So far this year, Bain Capital donated $123,200 to the DNC. They also donated to a Romney super PAC; $1.25 million!
Romney’s companies have sent 25% of this year’s donations to the Democrats, while in 2008, 2/3 of their money went to Obama!
It's corporate shills and status quo regardless of donkeys and elephants.
Please give Ron Paul some consideration. I’m not a kid; I’m a university professor.

@NWsubmom This brings to my mind the movie Truman or The Stepford Wives. The whole thing seems so staged.
