@AwesomeTeeVee Hey man, The iMac can play world of warcraft and most video games very well, I run bootcamp and play a lot of games, and this can handle those games very smoothly, It can run hd video editing well, but it sounds like you would want the higher end $1499 model with ATI Graphics. But before you go and buy one, i would wait to see what apple does, there are new iMacs due to be out within the next few weeks so i would hang in there a little longer to buy a new iMac

@TheDylanSmart I have the higher grade 21.5", the guy at the Mac store asked me if I was going to be running any adobe imaging software Illustrator, photoshop, inDesign, etc. he told me not to get the lower end model which is mainly for the first-time mac owner who just wants a personal computer for messing around with media. Now of course he was DEFINITELY up-selling me, but the graphics card is seriously quick and no rainbow-wheels-of-death when you are running multiple apps. : )

But yes you should still get a mac, i love all of apples products.

If your going to use your macbook pro outside, for school and will be trraveling alot, then buy Macbook pro.

If you only want a crazy ass computer and your home, ver comfortable screensize and very porwerfull to edi videos, use all Adobe, play video games, then buy iMac.

hey great video, i am thinking about purchasing an imac in the near future and i will be using it for music production and editing with logic express. will the base model be able to run a music interface, logic, and all those things or should i go with the higher end model? thanks in advance

@theassman09 really the base model has all you need, with music you need a lot of space and 500gb is a lot of space, now, it depends on HOW MUCH music you do, the base model is great with most graphical design too, so you should be fine with the music interface, it all depends on personal preference when it comes down to it.

Umm actually the base model will probably not do as much as you might need it to. The graphics card is the old NVIDIA and only comes in the base model. The 1499$ model comes with the Radeon graphics card has built in memory for faster running of graphic applications, it's really a good deal for double the memory (1 TB give or take) and a sweet ass graphics card....and seeing as you are an ass man....haha

500gb is a lot of memory, i wouldn't get the higher end model because of just memory, there are very few differences. so i would go for the base model
