I have tried reinstalling everything and everything like 10 times but I keep getting MAKE *** ERROR 2, please help, i've spent like 6 hours trying to get this installed, lol.
@MrJosiahT Let me try this in my 32bit 10.04 LTS VM and see if i have any issues. Can you copy/paste the entire error and email it over to me? Tim (AT) timashley (dot) me. Thanks!
@omgitsmit Sure, I'll send it right over, thanks. From your blog how-to of this I saw someone commenting with a similar problem. The faster I can resolve this the better, I got airpwn-1.3 installed but it doesn't support my drivers. They need to just come out with airpwn in the ubuntu software manager.
I cannot install python2.4-dev. The package does not show as being available. As a result, trying to configure airpwn/sudo make && make install gives me errors because there is no python2.4/python.h file or directory. I'm not sure what step gives me that error since I haven't done it in a while. But yes... it's very annoying.
@AndPious at the time of this video the python2.4-dev package was available. I guess they took it out of the repos, i agree, very annoying. Try using the python-dev package instead.
@omgitsmit I did go into the airpwn "configure.h" file and try changing the section where it checks for 2.4 to 2.6 packages, but as I don't know bash (yes, I'm noob :P) I'm confused as to why it's giving me what research shows to be a while loop error. I didn't change anything except some numbers (2.4 to 2.6) and maybe caps. I know this fix has worked for others. Don't understand what's wrong for me.
