Sorry but beliefs about ANYTHING need a reason, evidence, to believe it. If you want to project the future you'd better have some good evidence and even then you'd better be prepared for alterations. Today the world is supposed to experience rapture. Surprise surprise, it didn't happen. If I can project, noticing all of the other failed claims at the end of the world, I would say the evidence points me toward future claims being equally false. See, you're wrong. Its not impossible to project! :)
why is it so hard for people to see the truely sad facts of the world being plagued by religion? religion is a consequence of faith, faith is a consequence of accepting that which cannot be proven as fact, and therefore since god cannot be proven as fact our beliefs in him are unjustified.

7:04........when the people saw the cannons being placed, they should have charged the position immediately! those guns were hard to place and took time loading! the peasents could have torn the gunners to bits!........as for Cavalry, a line of pitchforks and small fast men with knives, could have solved that problem! horses dont like ripped stomachs, they would have panicked and thrown the riders to an awaiting justice!
