No offense, but if you played for 4 years I would expect a bit more than that I mean I can land better an i'v only played for like a year and a half...
my first flight with just a Logitech attack 3, its alright, its got 11 programmable buttons, and a throttle. axis. ya know. Ive been flying for a few days
Thats really bad landing. Watch my videos and see how its done lol. you need to try to use smaller movements before landing. Make sure you are Lined up. That means speed is at a good speed, Hight is 2 red 2 yellow, and last your in line before you touch down. This should give you an easy landing, you could also try ILS
sorry, but after 4 years? then was it a very bad landing...1fst: why dont u landing with the ILS? 2nd: u touched teh ground with the left less gear, then with the front and then with the right less... xD sry, but not very good for 4 years...
can anyone tell me the kind of joystick that has two hand holds like a real jet has i havent found any not the one handle kind the two handle kind please reply im goin to radioshack and bestbuy tmrw to find one
It would help if you put both sets of rear gear down before the nose touches down. Just a suggestion, and i realize it's hard to get used to the new controls. I Still have to use the keyboard.
Coming from a real pilot for Air Canada, you used the rudder to much, to many fast moves, and ALWAY put the back wheels down first, all the weight of the plane is there. The plane i fly is the Airbus A340-400.
awmg nice.. I want to be a pilot too :) you gotta teach me :) but the bad thing is that i wear glasses o.O (im not a nerd) I can't see stuff on long distances.. only close to me :p
(c) the runway, you flare ( tilt the nose up) about a degree or two from alreadying being in atleast a 10 degree pitch for a smooth glide slope) while keeping the wings leveled. That should equate to a nice landing and a nice video at that.
(b) That meljet is pretty easy to land. It has the easiest flight dynamics to manage. I wanna see another video by you of the same aircraft landing at a lower speed, leveled and at a 12-14degree pitch. Also, try not to turn soo much at the last minute. It's good to make adjustments, but make those adjustments a head of time so by the time you're 1000 ft from touch down, all you have to do is make sure you have a steady glide slope at around 600-800 feet per minute. When you're 50 feet above
Hmm...since it's your first flight, I won't slam you with the fact that if a real 777 was landed like that, that left landing gear would of snapped! At landing and take off, the landing gears are under extreme stress. It's best to land as level and on a pitch as high as the aircraft will allow without a tail strike and at a low speed that will not cause the plane to stall. I think the highest pitch for landing on a 777 is 12-14deg and a good speed for landing (depending on weight ) is 160-175.
No offense, but if you played for 4 years I would expect a bit more than that I mean I can land better an i'v only played for like a year and a half...

one suggestions , if you are trying to fly any plane from FSX try to find something called (Pilot operation hand book)
am a pilot , so in real life you find in the airplane itslef , gives you all the information you need such as :
Maximum landing wiat
Maximum landing speed
the required runway length etc
so if you can find the book for any of those planes you will be able to fly them in reality!
in the end nice job landing ! it was good
