@nyne1987 Thank you. I wish you could meet her. She is very well socialized, trained and friendly. Just don't try to break into my house, truck or mug me ;)
@Dogitude Sounds like you have your mind made up. It wasn't even an issue/decision. I always knew it was going to get done. Only hesitation was that it get done right. I brought dozens of "yes" and "no" pictures of crops to her surgeon. I like the esthetic, I wanted more breed recognition, less ear infections and better hearing along with less chance of damage to ear from other dogs or bad guys.
Thank you, I paid market price for a pet quality dog for her at the time. I think a Corso would do well in a house with other pets if socialized properly at an early age with them. Short hair? Maybe a Doberman? I don't know that breed though, sorry.
@michalikpiotr1 aww cute corso my corso was abused by a previous owner .the owner didnt socalize her so when we got her and til now shes not good with people unless we get her used to someone slowly but with other animals shes not good but we are still working with her
@01Avrilgirl Good for you for giving her a loving home! Keep working with her but never forget the fact that she is/may always be a liability so no off leash time in public, etc. But you sound like a good owner so I trust shes in good hands :)
@michalikpiotr1 yea i would for sure not take her off leash i can tell that would be a big mistake i just wish we could have gotten her as a puppy so she would be better with people and animals but for the family and those we introduce her to shes a good girl
@michalikpiotr1@michalikpiotr1 yea i would for sure not take her off leash i can tell that would be a big mistake i just wish we could have gotten her as a puppy so she would be better with people and animals but she is great with the family once she got used to em
@Darrius777 Thank you. Thats a complicated question. You have 2 factors: genetics (nature), ie: breeding/bloodlines & nurture, ie: socialization. You have more control over one then the other obviously. With that said, do your homework on the breeders you're considering & be prepared to rule with an iron fist & spend lots of time training (they learn quick but are stubborn). With that said, Lucy is awesome, IMHO the breed overall has a stable temperament as well. PM me for more info, thanks.
@michalikpiotr1 Um How much did you pay for her i love her i have a hungarian vizsla named Lucy too love her, but wondering if a cane corso would go well with a vizsla shes nutered and 1 year 1 month old. And jst wondering if theres any short haired guard dog that would go well with her. Please reply back.
@Darrius777 I have a year and a half Corso and they can be difficult. Like what was already said you have to be very dominate. Cane Corso is very protective of it's family even if you except someone in your home as a friend it will take the Corso longer to warm up if ever. They like to bark at just about everything. I've owned many breeds of dog but this breed by far is the best. Very smart and great with kids.
@MurkaGlamurka Wolf Cub solid gold or something like that, its organic i think? The large breed formula. Shes been on it since puppy. Guy at the store told me its one of the top 5. I don't have the time or patience for raw diet. I also give her sardines and tuna in oil for the coat. Just 1/4 can a meal. Hope it helps and thank you.
@tsgno1 Thank you, I have a lot of footage from last year...diving/swimming and playing in snow but no time to edit, post up, etc... I'll get around to it! :)

@Dogitude Cane Corso with cropped ears look better in my opinion. Cane Corso without cropped ears look funny...

@michalikpiotr1 thank you, I stick to the best foods, too. Raw is not for our lifestyle either, but add raw meat here and there.
