You've completely missed my point. Aborting a baby is certainly less than ideal, but bringing it into the world could be worse in many situations, for obvious reasons. In that case, it is the better choice to abort the fetus, not necessarily the best. The murdering animals for food situation is completely different because the murder is being performed for different reasons. You can't bring one situation out of the context and directly compare them like that.

Oh man, over the years their sound went from skate-punk to metal. Their album Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes was really a turning point in their career. They still rock and kick corporate ass, probably more then before.
The only one I ever listened to was How to Clean Up Everything---awesome album. I'mm thinking about getting Supporting Caste or that one you're talking about. What do u recommend?

I make efforts to be rich every day. I'm not there yet. There are safeguards put in place by the rich to prevent the poor from advancing. For example, one needs a 4 year degree in something to get anywhere in business. What about those who have business sense and have studied independently, but could not afford to go to...any college at all? A piece of paper defining my life? Really?

valve caters primarily to the pc and since l4ds a MP you can see why people are irritated by a quick sequel that looks to be nothing more than an update--some which modders couldve done, that could diminish the people playing l4d. another is that the content of l4d2 was implied to be updated into l4d.

Actually Fat Music for Fat People was the first Fat Wreck comp. This was on the 2nd comp Survival of the Fatest. Which did come out in 96 or something like that. Not to say this video or the song wasn't in their set list before that time.

Oh man, over the years their sound went from skate-punk to metal. Their album Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes was really a turning point in their career. They still rock and kick corporate ass, probably more then before.

The rich get rich because they make an effort, yes I know there are crooked rich people but not all are, and the poor stay poor because they don't try. Look I have friends who are better off than i am because they made more of an effort to be, and I'm not poor because I made an effort not to be.

I make efforts to be rich every day. I'm not there yet. There are safeguards put in place by the rich to prevent the poor from advancing. For example, one needs a 4 year degree in something to get anywhere in business. What about those who have business sense and have studied independently, but could not afford to go to...any college at all? A piece of paper defining my life? Really?

That's not really true, I have friends who have never been to college but have WORKED HARD and are RICH, There was no Evil Rich people putting up safeguards to prevent them from becoming that, there are other examples of poor people becoming rich, Joan Rivers just started a show about that very thing. also I know you didn't say evil people but there are Libs who have become rich through their college degrees and hate the working class who say Working Rich people are evil, Hope you succeed!

I see what you mean, but my question to you is thus: is it not infinitely harder to move forward with these stringent requirements placed on everything that's worthwhile? You need a Fire Science degree to be a fireman, which is essentially sweeping floors, driving trucks, and holding hoses until you begin to get some rank. (Father is a retired firefighter, before anyone says anything.) Cops need a criminal justice degree to drive cars, write tickets, push paper, and piss people off. WTF?

The rich get rich because they ship manufacturing jobs from North America to places like China and El Salvador where minimum wage and environmental & labour laws aren't enforced if they even exist at all. These people have to work 100-200 hours overtime each month because they make less than 2$ a day

I saw them live, and Chris was babbling on for twenty minutes about animal rights and veganism. If I wanted to hear bullshit about animal rights, I'd go to a fucking PETA protest. I went to a Propagandhi show to hear punk rock and have fun. This ain't a lecture hall; it's a rock concert. I think their politics are for crap, too, but that's not the point. Even if if they were espousing views I agree with, I'd still tell 'em to shut up and play. This band is well known for it's concert lectures.

I say he obviously spends lots of time and concern writing the great lyrics that he does (whether we like his politics or not) and he deserves a little respect--or at least some condescending sympathy?--when he's up there trying to explain himself. wouldnt being a conformist mean that i would support valve releasing l4d2--considering that big game companies generally release half-assed sequels to half-assed games? the move comes across as a major cash grab, a spit on l4d--dont tell me it was a complete game worth $50 (it wasnt), and a backtrack to their previous statements/record. dlc != full priced sequel.

L4D was worth every penny, and I respect Valve pushing out a sequel. You have not played the new l4d2 so you can't say it is half assed. Hell insomniac did all the ratchet and clank sequels exactly 9 months apart for each and each was better than the previous one. people who are upset about the new l4d are crybabies. so anyone special. Valve is doing what they want, and it is people who are automatically judging a game by 1 trailer shouldn't even play games.

L4d was $20 at best, little content, rushed for holidays, riddled with bugs--especially the demo (theres still the random disconnection). thats why its half-assed. only console fags would shit themselves over this DLC-made-sequel.
its the same game with mods. fuck, l4d even plays like a mod--albeit "prettier" than killing floor and zombie panic!

Haha, nah it wasn't i put my hours worth, I beat all the campaigns on normal in 2 hours. Sure the game is short, but i have never been dropped out of a game. I get dropped out of Halo, Gears, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Call of Duty more than L4D. oh btw, I never said I paid 50 dollars for it. I payed bout 30$ GTFO

$50 was/is the pc rate. i dont know about xbox because i dont play consoles. if l4d was strictly a console release people wouldnt complain because youre kind of used to quick releases/rape.
valve caters primarily to the pc and since l4ds a MP you can see why people are irritated by a quick sequel that looks to be nothing more than an update--some which modders couldve done, that could diminish the people playing l4d. another is that the content of l4d2 was implied to be updated into l4d.

I see what you are getting at, and I know someone who has been saying a lot of the reasons why people are boycotting is for revenge of some sort on Valve/Steam because of the bad Team Fortress updates. I say let the people make their living. And get over the fact they are releasing the game. You also best not try to judge the game BEFORE its release as you never know how much better or worse L4D2 will be.

Actually Fat Music for Fat People was the first Fat Wreck comp. This was on the 2nd comp Survival of the Fatest. Which did come out in 96 or something like that. Not to say this video or the song wasn't in their set list before that time.
