Yo i was going to buy an ipod but it was the 80 GB Version i had the money but i didn't buy it becuase why would you the guy said that in 2 years the Ipods going to break is this true or 3 years and if it is how do i prevent it just want to say

I have had my ipod for over 1 year now so i cant promise anything - my neighbor has had his for about 1 year and a half . we have had NO problems but if you buy an ipod buy a CASE to protect the screen! I have multiple other friends that have various models and styles of ipods and the as long as you don't throw your ipod around i am sure you can make it at least a Minimum of 3 yrs.

The other thing to think about is what other cool mp3 players will come out in 3 yrs. chances are that you will buy a new one by that time :) Good Luck!
