  • The dog taking a piss on you isn't enough clue that it doesn't want to go in the pool. That's just mean.

  • DAMN, he's a skinny dog.

  • These are a very smart dog, I have an eski

  • i got a american eskimo names isis or ices either way and she likes to snuggle 1 time i laided a big soft thick blanket and i had a pillow and when i laid down she came up and wanted to snuggle i was so nice i let her take alot of the blanket and the pillow so i was sleeping on the floor while she was snuggling on my soft nice blanket and pillow lol then when i woke up she licked my face LOLZ

  • What's wrong with these people that are commenting negatively towards the owner. I also have an eskie. He LOVES the water but sometimes is skittish until he gets in. He even rides on my jet ski with me. Soon as I put it in the water he runs to jump on the seat waiting for a ride. Really people, it is clear that Jack likes the water and us just unsure about the edge when getting in. Leave the owners alone.

  • I have had 2 eskies now, they are ruff puff's. very adventurous. i love them.

    She is a happy doggie.

  • All the negative comments are silly. Obviously Jack likes playing in the pool, he's just hesitant about getting in. If he really hated it, he would be trying to get out, not getting the bottle. The uploader has other video where they take him kayaking and he seems to really love that. I would never want to take a dog kayaking if I was afraid he'd fall in and not be able to swim calmly, life vest or not. People who attack good dog owners when they don't have one themselves shouldn't judge.

  • my american eskimo is small and hates swimming i put him in the water and he swims but panics a little so i hold him up and he seems to enjoy it just he hates when he has to swim with now help

  • @WARDOG4491 I think you're smart to help your little eskie to learn how to swim. That's important in case there is ever a water emergency and he's on his own and needs to rescue himself.

  • @VickiMTaylor lol i had to save my gf from falling off a big drop off and my snowy had to swim on his own for a minute so instead of swimming like a dog normally would he followed me and while i was saving her he dug his claws in me trying to get out of the water i have scars now lol

  • @WARDOG4491 oh! ouch! That must have hurt, especially if it was saltwater!

  • @VickiMTaylor nope fresh water thank god lol anyways i just found out my gf was gonna buy one for $75 from this lady whos really nice and her eskimo is pure breed also so on the first we'll have 2 pure breed american eskimos my gf wants them to have puppys so she can keep a girl and i'm gonna keep another boy one so what should we do with the other ones?

  • @WARDOG4491 if you have papers for each then it won't be too hard to paper the puppies. They'll sell easier that way. I'd do some research now and and get connected with nearest AE groups. Let them know you're going to breed. That will possibly drum up some interest. Get online with AE groups as well. They'll be able to point you in right direction about breeding, papers, and how much to ask for puppies, etc. Good, well-bred AE puppies are hard to come by. Do you have standards or minis?

  • @VickiMTaylor i have minis lol the girl was gonna have the dogs breed then sell the boys for $1000 and the girls for $800 if i had papers for mine but instead she is gonna sell us the girl eskie so we can have both doggies since i am scared to death to let my dog stay over someone elses house without me since well hes my doggy so on friday my girlfriend is buying the other doggy

  • @WARDOG4491 I understand. Jack is my baby too. There's only one place I trust to take care of him when I have to go away and need someone to take care of him for me. Otherwise, I take him with me where ever I go. He's a good little traveler. For long trips we use his crate. Otherwise, short trips around town, he uses his seat belt.

  • You should not own an animal. i wish you drown .

  • @BunnysiEat I wish you peace and happiness!

  • Long live Talk Talk!

  • I had an American Eskimo for 16 years of my life and I never actually put her in the water cuz she hated it, but she was the best dog in the world to me. Clearly Jack likes doesn't mind it, and I can tell he loves you.

  • Is pool water with chlorine in it that good for dogs? I don't know. Why did you just throw it back in the pool at the end of the video? Even your dog looked at you a little funny. That was mean.

  • leave him alone you fat bastard i hope that dog kills you and your stupid kids

  • @Lukedeandavies wow chill out, idiot. seriously, you don't wish a death threat on a human being for something as insignificant as that. was the dog hurt? did the dog die? then what the fuck is wrong with you. death isn't funny. see if you ever make a comment like that again after someone you know and love dies.

  • the reasons eskimos have so much fur is probably cuz they r not made for swimming LOL just my thoughts cuz mine hates water so much that hes not even willing to take a shower

  • I just got a mini Eskie 5 weeks ago, she was 2 months old when I brought her home. During the first week while she was wandering around in the yard, she jumped into my pond on her own, great swimmer. Although she hates baths (probably because it's not her idea) she loves to go see the fish.

  • @cpmoongoddess Jack loves to walk around the pool looking for "fish" like he does when he's on the dock at the ocean. One of his favorite past times is to chase frogs and grasshoppers into the pool and watch them swim.

  • Ive set out a small pool for my eskie and my chihuahua jackrussel mix and they love going in it. But they both HATE baths with a passion. And the eskie in the vid was just nervous and doesnt know how to get in the pool and obviously LOVES swimming around. Cuz if it didnt, it wouldve tried to climb up the owner or immediately try to climb out. Not swim to the other side of the pool and swim back.

  • @RikUSlaVeY Maybe the dog is just doing what the guy wants so he'll let him out the water.

  • Poor little guy, it clearly just wants to get out of the water. Eskimos are not water dogs.

  • to train a dog to be able to swim you have to get it comfortable with the water. they'll not like it at first but should get comfortable with it. my uncles boxer hated the water at first, but now loves to swim. people are way to sensitive with animals nowadays. what if your dog was in deep water by accident and didnt know how to react or swim? they would drown. you have to teach your dog to be good by themselves. teaching them to be tough will make them a more obedient and disiplined dog.

  • i have an eskie... and damn is he stubborn to get in the pool... he'll only get in... if he gets to walk onto a boogie board and then coaxed in after that

  • my two mixed eskies hate water and my full eskie loves it

  • My dog is scared of water :P

    But i wouldnt force him

  • this stupid FAT DUDE is like animal abusing this poor poor dog!what a bitch!!!

  • @sofabell09 cant you see the dog loves the water once hes in

  • My eskie hates the water!!

  • you assholes he he just wants the bottle he doesnt like swimming. THat fat guy is an asshole for forcing the dog in the water and the woman is weak for letting her husband do so. or maybe they are both oblivious and truly think the dog likes swimming.

  • if you read the capion, the dog doesnt like getting in the pool by himself. he was clearly enjoying the swim once he was in, if not he would of ran out straight away, not swam for his bottle. no need to call the owners mean or unworthy of having pets.

  • @changethedamnchannel your so right... it obviously was enjoying itself wen inside the pool....

  • Jesus, if the dog really was in pain, it wouldn't have gone so easily into the pool. Its just nervous.

  • nice pool

  • oh shut up whoevers crying how mean it is. I bet you think its mean and bad parenting to discipline your kid in public too. Clearly she was already in the pool prior to this video, and doesnt resent her owners for doing so. CRY MOAR BABIES

  • that's mean...

  • dont force it what owner are you???

  • He didn't want to go in the pool!Don't make him! I would never do that to my American Eskimo!

  • that looks like my dog and acts like it to!

  • he's 6 years old now... in that video I guess he was about 4...

  • @VickiMTaylor hes so cute :D i have an eskie too

  • wow ur dog is tall....how old is it

  • OMFG that looks exactly like my Eski Snowy.... But he's deathly afraid of the water. Does anyone agree that they are almost like cats? Because mine always crosses his paws and acts very cat like not including the hiding

  • yes i agree that eskis r like cats. My american eskimo does the same exact thing. but he doesnt act cat like.... but he likes to rub himself against furniture and stuff... but he is very energetic, and howls like crazy. He is 3yrs old and he is a miniture eskimo. he loves to go outside, we call him lightning cuz he runs so fast!

  • hahaha! My Eskimo is the same way.

  • you must have had a lot of hair on your hand i wuld on cuz i have 1

  • uh huh.... i have an american eskimo too, and when we went to get my minature eskimo, the breeder said... "OH NO.. american eskimos dont shed!"... well she is a BIG FAT LIAR! cuz my 3yr old eskimo sheds like CRAZY! but he is still a good dog

  • the poor thing did not wanna go in the water

  • hes so cute he looks like my eski. i tryed to put mine in the pool once and he was doing good and then he started sinking. im hopeing to get him better at it.

  • i have an eski too, and he goes nuts when hes wet

  • my dog is exactly the same like that my sushi(that's my dogs name) except sushi is scared of water

  • i hava the sm dog

  • I don't think that's "swimming" as much as "trying not to drown after being taken in the pool even though I don't want to be in the pool".

  • Mine only swims with his babysitter. He won't swim with us! :(

  • man he looks scared , you guys are flippin mean

  • what an asshole

  • eskies always seem to swim like they got rocks in their ass.....

  • that´s not nice to your dog, what if someone did that to you ?. People like you should not have animals.

  • @emma953 loser

  • @emma953relax people i have and eskie too she has a disability but actually likes getting exercise in the water they just dont know how to get in or out and thats what they seem unsure of .. the dog had fun once it was in there with his bottle i'm sure the owners love this dog. you shouldnt judge based off this.

  • @emma953 you need to know dog well before make that statement. Some dog dont go into water if there is a big stair, like pool. my eski too, he like swimming, but he will only go into water by himself at beach, he never go into pool by himself.

  • my dojs name is zac and hes an eskie sooo cute

  • All that work the dog went through to get the bottle and the guy just fligs it away! D: It makes me sad...

  • ours dos the same thing when she needs a bath

  • lol my dogs love swimming they are american eskimos aswell the beach is there favoirte place

  • DAMN HE'S AGGRESiVE

  • mean owner

  • my eskie hates water too! what a good dog, doing a trick even though he doesn't want to be there! I can't help but feel bad for little Jack... =(

  • It's like instinct for eskies to not like water. I think it's because their undercoat makes them heavy 0.o

  • My eskimo would rip my head off if i tried putting her in water

  • my eskie LOVES the snow!

  • Eskimos have a natural instinct to avoid water, because of their heavy undercoats which weigh them down when they are in water. But my Eskimo loves to swim, so we shave him down every summer so we don't have to worry about his undercoat weighing him down.

  • O_O does everyone but me have one of these???

    I wants one :'(

  • Jack is just too hilarous.

  • My eskimo hates water as well. We have put her on a float, but she gets very nervous around the pool!!!

    Cute video!!

  • you are mean!!

  • ronney ur right its cruel to hold on to its legs and put it in the pool when it's afraid

  • My eskie hates water, she won't even go outside if it's raining a little.

  • I have two eskies that love to swim!!! If you put them in...lol!

  • I have one to his name is Kimo o-o Lol I spoil him to much, =] But its worth it I luv him <3

  • i have one and boy, hes freaked out whenver he cs water

  • correct, whiteypetals. he is a gorgeous puppy. but dude controlling the dog has moobs

  • my dogs hate water, and playing fetch, there spoiled.

  • ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS DOG! He was SO, SO, SO cute when he slinked towards you when you summoned him. Oh, just SO cute!!!!! You can tell that dog trusts you so much. Also, the part where his front paws were STILL MOVING and he wasn't even swimming was SO CUTE! I LOVE YOUR DOG!!!!!!

  • uhhh...the "american eskimo dog" isn't from the north, or related to the huskie in the slightest bit. Its actually from Germany and was known as a German Spitz until it came to america where it was changed to american eskimo dog due to unfriendly feelings towards the germans during the war

  • dogs are amazing swimmers you dont need to swim fat to stay in the water long ;P

  • Can't keep mine out of the water. She swims just fine. She tries to swim in the water dish.

  • You have a gorgeous dog, however you shouldn't force the dog into the water. He will lose his trust in you, also the more you force him/her the less that dog will like the water. Give the dog time. Hope all works out for you and your dog.

  • dude! what about the shedded fur?? isn't your pool all ... hairy?

  • he cant force him to do something!:[

  • if i had a dog like that i wouldn't force it to do something it woudn't do

  • i love your tan

  • whoa. My eskie abusalutley HATES water. thats so cool.

  • lol that eskie hates water too

  • Vickimae

Jack is just fine, our American Eskimo lives in our pool all summer!!!!!

  • I agree, I would never force my dog to do something it didn't want to. You are teaching him to not trust you.

  • My eskie loves to swim as well, but I would never grab him by the leg and force him in the water, since I really wouldn't like for someone to do that to me.

  • my american eskimo does the excact smae thing. we take her to the beach and she loves to swim!

  • ours dos the same thing when she needs a bath

  • yeah mine too

  • haha i dont get that my eskie does that to wen ever he thinks im mad or tell him to come here he always lays down like that does anyone elses

  • hahaha

    Mine loves bottles too.

But he jumps on his own.

    Very cute.

  • (smiling) my eskie acts exactly like this when I try to force her to swim...

  • an eskie and a whale,how comical

  • thsy are great dog!!! full of energy, i never saw anuthing like it

  • my eskimo dog toshia loved the water....she would get in my bath if i was not careful...lol

  • He kept flailing his legs when he wasn't in the water!

    Too cute! :D

  • aww how cute !!!!

  • Ohmigoodness, that is too cute. He was swimming in air... aww, Jack's flailing legs were just precious.

  • hahahaha he's so cute!!! his little legs hahaha
