I have the 701 which is one of the first ones that came out before they started offering them with Windows. It is great but battery life wasn't so great. I just purchased the 1000 HE and LOVE it and battery life is great with just the 6 cell. I am a college student and it works well for in class. Thanks!

I'm not sure if windows media player has the codec to play the HD stuff but I use Roxio and it works great.

I purchased one online yesterday. Got the 1000ha for $349, and an extended 3-year warranty plan for $39, and 2gb of memory for $24. Great prices and looking forward to my new netbook!
Also purchased a slim external DVD writer drive with 3 year warranty, which will work excellently with the Eee PC. And for external mouse usage, I got a Logitech cordless optical mouse for use for notebooks as well. And purchased a Wenger laptop case. I'm all set. :)
You got the Ha i got the 1005hab it sux cause Asus wont let me upgrade the way can do yours. Nice vid speed it up a tad

the extended battery is working well I get a good 8 hours with out using power savings.
