An easy way of ensuring this sort of shit doesnt happen would be to organise some sort of movement where we automatically don't watch the following show if this comes on.

Of over the rainbow is shit and I wouldnt watch it regardless of how many you put it on.

I posted on the other vid that i really can't blame the fans for being pissed off about this but after listening to the interview here i really have to say that this is just taking it a little too far. Like come on people why is it suddenly breaking news? You really need to be grateful that it doesn't happen all the time there. If you lived in North America you would have to put up with this everyday. I'm a major DW fan and i don't like it either but just for a sec think, is this really healthy?

@GallifreyFilms The reason it's big news is because this is the worst one to date. And if we were to put up with this, then it WOULD happen all the time. That is the whole point of the complaints. We have too many shitty logos because for too long not enough people have complained. Hopefully the fightback is starting.

@GallifreyFilms But this is not North America. I have seen the graphics and things the US channels have, and if I lived there, I wouldn't watch tv... I'd probably wait for the DVDs to come out and rent them instead. BBC1 doesn't have stuff like this everyday, and viewers pay a lot for the BBC, it doesn't have commercial adverts.

Well, I'm watching this from Oz, and I don't give a flying saucer about 'what's on next!!'. And for all you Brits, I feel sorry for how the BBC seems to treat you. Do they think you all have attention spans of a heavy drinking goldfish?

Screw ripping this straight away, I'm going back to watching it first on the ABC. At least they haven't started doing crappy overlays.

This is now the reason that I record my favourite programmes on the respective channel players the following day. i.e Ashes To Ashes & Dr. Who on iplayer and ITV's Net Player for their shows, why ?

Because there are no DOGS (digital on screen graphics) there are no announcers at the start or end and all the titles are clean and in full, just a tip !

These banners are a disease that's infected and spoiled many climaxes of great programmes. They must think we're all retards. I was annoyed about it too as I did think something like Doctor Who would be safe from it, but no! Is this a sign of the trend spreading to the BBC?. I used to watch Stargate on Sky and every episode was riddled with them at the start, after every ad break (each 5 minutes long!) and just before the end too. I stopped watching them and just bought the DVD's instead.

I didn't have to put up with this as I watched in HD but the announcer at the beginning of Doctor Who on BBCHD did call them the Crying Angels!!!
