Without protein you won't grow as well and be undernourished. The reason we are omnivorous is so if lean times come again we can survive. It is a survival tool. Why would we give that up? Without protein you won't grow as well and be undernourished. The reason we are omnivorous is so if lean times come again we can survive. It is a survival tool. Why would we give that up? That is such a weak argument. Balanced diet-one containing foods which furnish all the nutritive factors in proper proportion for adequate nutrition. If you eat just veggies though, you won't get everything you need. Carnosine is a nutrient you need. It makes your brain work properly longer. It is only found in meat.

no god would like if you sacrifice animals to them. i love hinduism a peaceful religion, but don't kill animals for that.
the animals murdered around the world for mcdonalds and stuff is bad but it isn't done for religion.

The vast majority of Hindus are against this and thier dharma advocates vegetarianism and the protection of cattle because not only are they other higher lifeforms but ones which traditional agragarian society depends so much on. They dont kill thier calves to steal the milk of cows and their country is not a meat processing factory unlike yours.

We are headed down the toilet because we have been spending billions for years making sure 3-world piss-holes get food, medicine, and aid during natural disasters. We grow more food than pretty much anyone, and we give more aid than pretty much everyone combined. Why are there so many mechanized countries now? The spread of American capitalism.

@kumarsa108 The US also doesn't run cattle operation on vast tracts of rain forest that feeds very few people. he US for the most part does factory farming where they take up as little space as possible, but it is inhumane for this reason. So, the animal rights people want them to have more room and the environmentalists want them to have less, so the two together want them to just quit producing cattle. Good thing we don't put those idiots in charge or we'd be screwed in no time.

The USA meat consumption or just food generally is obsene, it is wasteful and most US citizens are unhealthy from this kind excess and lack of simple discipline.
