I just picked up the 530 a month ago, my first benchmade. I love it, its very lightweight and a great EDC knife. The blade is not as thick as other pocket knives, but it is meant to be a EDC. Very slim and lightweight. I forget I'm carrying it sometimes.

Th emore benchmade will become famous and the more it will be praised, the more a minority of people will start to hate them more and more.

I don't care about fads or whatever : I was never disapointed by a benchmade knife (except one 710 not as sharp as it should have been out of the box and that's a shame, but hey, I can sharpen , so , no big deal !)

The Benchmade folks have all been very nice to us

We did get a cold shoulder at a few booths though. It's a long four days at SHOT (more for the exhibitors because fo setup & tear down)

I have found if I come back more than once (to booths who deserve it) I can catch them when they are back at 100%

About the new 760 Lum folder, but why is the pocket clip so bad?

It's too low and only for tip-down.

It's a shame, the knife looks great, but it's hard to carry.

Did Benchmade say anything about their new Harley Davidson branded Benchmite knives which have a pocket/money clip? I'm curious to know if the non-Harley branded Benchmites will get the clip upgrade.
