@lifeh43 Yes he does, depending on his mood - when he is neutral he is brown, when he gets happy he is blue, and dependng on the situation he can get green-blue, purplish, white or even black... So much about chameleons eh?

Hello I just got my red headed agama today, can you tell me what i need for my setup including,lighting,and food just want to make sure if i need anything and if it is an ok setup

@makkd83 The needs are similar as for the bearded dragon, just not that hot... mealworms, roaches, crickets and the sort, try not to put a substrate or sand so he doesnt swallow any, give him baths 1-2 times a week in shallow hot water, mine loves it... a terrarium of a size 80x40 cm should be more then enough for him/her

awwwwww wow, we got a red headed agama around a year ago, his name is colin, someone had dumped him on the shop, his tail wasnt as long as yours, someone else did ask what happened to his tail, hes a friendly inquisitive lil fella, but soon as we go near him hes gone nuts, were being persistant with him and handling him every day, but as we know with other lizards they dont forget their past, just want to say well done

i have a red headed agama and his had isnt red! do they turn red as they mature?

@brendonleclair Well it's probably a female then. males tend to have an orange head most of the time, and rainbow colors every now and then, females are just plain brown with dots... Give your lizard a warm bath, and see if it turns into a rainbow - always works with mine lol!

@MrBinty1440 Oh he got me so many times... But it didn't hurt me one bit, I guess he is just playing. Also I found out he loves dandelion greens and any kind of green vegetable, and likes to eat fruit and veggies more then worms and crickets, but if he sees one running, he won't let it go away of course!

@Nenadjones2 hahaha yea he looks like hes real fast! my new baby lizard just hit 1 pound yesterday :) man everytime i see him hes eating and he'll just walk over and try to eat gizmos food too but he dont try that with Binty! Binty wants him for lunch! i had to snatch binty up the other day he went after the baby cause the baby was walking on the ground outback & thats bintys yard, the baby ran for his life! i told him u better stay up high ur not that big yet lol

This is one reason why I'm afraid to get Jack a female, since they are only half as big as males, and I can only keep them together (not enough room), so what if Jack snaps and rips her apart? I've seen how your Binty attacked Gizmo... man that was scary...
