Looks pretty god damn awesome. The way the guns and your hands are postitioned in the 1st person perspective isnt all that great, but the fragmentation grenades... bloody hell! Most realistic explosions I've seen on a game! 4 1/2 for me.

There are no slow motions, when your team mate gets hit, there are no shits flying out of houses where grenade just exploded, there is no guy carrying MG tripod in your MG squad (just guy with MG and another guy caries ammunition, but every single team member never runs out of ammo, so he's pointless), there's actualy no mission like this at all.....

certain levels are hard to beat on authentic, especially "Rabbit in the Hole", thats the hardest level on this game, it is really hard to beat the WHOLE game on authentic. i haven't beaten it on authentic and im not going to.

A potentially good game which still has major "realism" flaws and the dreaded "invisible" walls. Obviously a port to the PC from the console and aimed at the arcade crowd. Still no "prone" capability which, to a military type, is unforgiveable if you're going for authenticity. There seems to be more cut scenes than actual game play and those scenes although well done cannot be bypassed, very annoying. Keep in mind that your playing a scripted pre-determined game and you'll enjoy it.

this mission and some others have been cut from the final game, a big shame as this looked like a good one. another thing cut is going prone, u can only crouch. the released game is pretty poor. go with cod4 or bad company if u want real destructable environments and decent online play. bia a real let down in places, levels r linear and repetitive. it's only good for a ww2 history lesson.

I have only played the first one. It's really only good for getting to the know the characters and the squad control, as it's pretty unique to FPS. You can jump right into Hell's Highway though, no problem. It has much better graphics than the previous two.

COD and BIA cant really be compared. COD goes for balanced gameplay that might not be as histoically accurate, playing with the 3 main allied nations. BIA stays with the 101st and tries to offer the exact details and accuracy, and offers the ability to command ur squad. so its a personal preference, each game is fun to play.
