ABM's execution of the ornaments is really extraordinary!! I have never heard cleaner playing. He paired this sonata on the original vinyl recording with Beethoven's #32 (op 111). Somehow, it seems an appropriate complement.
@paradiddleday The only pianists cleaner with more control is Anthony Di Bonaventura. playing Scarlatti. I will give you the link if you are curious - he has a exclusive technic only he uses.

@FinchedelVino Michelangeli was a great expertise of the piano mechanic, he could cancel a concert if his piano was not perfect according to him, especially if the piano was not well tuned . For his concertos he used to play only one of his two pianos.

I dont recall seeing any other pianist play with as little fuss as Michelangeli, the instrument becomes a natural extension of himself.
