like a lot of games, it require a CD key i guess. Didn't it tell you where to look at? The code should be inside the box or on the manual (to the back probably)
@Popkov123 it's quite chaotic in RT so it' better to use pause to give orders, plus I could record only 30 secs each time so I had to pause even more :p
Sorry for the late answer. I can't really tell you since I don't have a xbox, but as far as I know, it's the same game. Then it depends. If your computer isn't very powerful, it might be better to buy it on xbox. But if you aren't paying the live subscription and don't want to, you might want to get it on pc, since the multiplayer is the most interesting and then you won't have to pay more for it.
PC. They messed Xbox MP (Ok it is a mess in PC also, but at least it works.), and there are way more players on PC. Besides on PC you don't have to pay (At the moment.) for new teams, while on the Xbox you have to.
I didn't try the board game it self, but I guess it can be worth it, since you can play against many other players on the interne, and compose the team you want without having to buy models if you just want to try a different race.
Plus I guess that cheating is impossible since the computer is rolling the dice etc.
The only defaults are the long loading times, and a not so elaborated customization (watch my other vids).
Well, i'd say real time control is less accurate. Sometimes i feel like the players aren't really doing what i tell them to do. hard to explain, but since it's the same rule in both modes, the players have to finish their fights before moving, or will stop if an ennemy get close to them.
Plus, i think you can see it a bit in this vid, the speed difference between the player isn't much represented, as you can see some of my guys having trouble to outrun the dwarves.
And, as a wargame amateur, i just like to play turn based (not that much game are turn based nowadays). It's better in order to make plans, determine probabilities for the success of an action or even just to see what's the "range" of a player, like:
if i try to pass here, how many guys can he bring to counter me on his next turn? so how much player should i send to protect the ball carrier etc.
hum, because it's interesting and strategic... Even though the real time option isn't as good as the turn based one imho. Basically it's a wargame in a sport universe. Just check my last vids in the blood bowl playlist if you wanna see live turn based gameplay.
Maybe there is some lag because of fraps mostly, but I'm also using the pause button to give my orders, That's why i can give orders while everybody stop moving.
ANd yes, dwarves have slayers, they are quite annoying, well the all dwarves tend to be in this game, they are though as hell :)

Is there no kind of penalty for throwing a bad pass? If not that significantly changes the strategy for real time play vs. turn based.
richardshort2001 2 years ago
I didn't notice any penalty for failing any action so yes it changes quite a lot from the turn based mode.

It's always hard to wait for a good game :p

I know right..... so why do you think turn based is better? :D

Skavenload 2 years ago
It seems to be kinda thesame game on xbox and pc, but since i don't have a xbox360 i can't tell you for sure.
Kamfrenchie 2 years ago
Looks interesting. Does the game lag itself, or is it beacause of Fraps?
And... I SEE SLAYERS!

Maybe there is some lag because of fraps mostly, but I'm also using the pause button to give my orders, That's why i can give orders while everybody stop moving.
