In Fallout 2 the Enclave would kill the BOS all they have to do is get their overpowered gauss pistols and the Bos would lose. I'm level 34 in Fallout 2 and Enclave soldiers still kill me in 1 or 2 turns and in Fallout 3 i can kill them at around level 12 and they have gattling lasers and plasma rifles.

its pretty easy to mod brother hood of steel to use t51b as opposed to t45d, and it makes more sense lorewise too.

i use a mod that gives lyons pride t51b, as well as most paladins, and knights get t45d, initiates get recon.
