Im a thrasher but honestly Metallica is a hypocritical band. Love the classic metal sound on this album. Like Tesla, Dokken was far to great and sofisticated to be called hair metal. I was a fan of mostly the bands others were ignoring or don't remember. A much better Whitesnake was durring this time,Canadian rockers Rush and Triumph. What ever happened to great engineers and producers, or betteryet musicians? It's tragic that the biggest selling albums of today after grunge came and ruined everything are by gay American Idol contestants.
