And yes...though they were just very good friends when they made this movie, JC and JC had quite a torrid affair a few years previously!
@robsisk9 Oh you're so welcome Rob! You're right it does deserve a DVD release and a nice restoration. I read that about JC and JC recently but I also read that they resumed their affair briefly during the filming of this. Also, and I don't wish to ruin anyone's illusions, but it's written in many Crawford biographies that she was well aware of Chandler's pension to cross-dressing and had no issues with it. (Disclaimer: I have no problem at all with cross-dressing or any other life choice).
