Miniature horses in the US are shown similarly to Arabian or Saddlebred horses in the US. The mane is clipped a little further down the neck according to the individual horses neck length to accentuate and and allow the judges to see the arch and musculature in the horses neck more clearly. I am sure that in each country there are varying styles in which different breeds of horses are exhibited, this just happens to be the way we exhibit them here. Does that help?

Roy is a Gelding and NO he is NOT for sale. He has a forever home in my barn so stay away! lol. jk, I'm Shay by the way so he really is my pony XD Training them is easier than most think. All that you have to do is get an experienced trainer and work with them as much as possible. They are quick learners :)

Well, Shay grew up with horses and we got our first minni. We are selling him right now. Then, shay got a minni named Stanley but he died in a few weeks. Then, we went and looked for another minni and we found Roy from a friend of ours.

What a nice video to see...I have been showing and training my own minis for about 7 years now. And watching little Shay reminds me of my childhood. Too precious enhoy those times while she is she still younger and just hope she will stay with the lil ones..Seems like alot of youth in AMHA and AMHR switch to bigger horses later on. I would love to see her stay with the lil ones :) What a great a team
