There are several ways to ask a question.

1: What has created this machine?

2: How was this machine created?

3: Who created this machine?

4: Was this machine created or not?

By assuming that machine could only be created by some one means answer would have to imply a god.

Being a native Arabic speaker I could read the passage out of the Quran. In surah Yasin (36) aya 38. The word Pickthal has misinterpreted which is moustaqar/moustaqer. The word is spelled exactly the same way in Arabic, but the accents on the letters are different. Moustaqer means "place" or "stable". Mostaqar means "determined"

The way the word is accented in surah Yasin is "moustaqar" which means "determined".

The translation of the aya is then:

"And the sun runs towards what is determined for it".

I have an English translation of the Quran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali and the same aya in Surah yasin is translated to :

"And the Sun runs his course for a period determined for him".

Please check other translated versions to verify this.
