omg i was trying to beat Helper to Hero for a week and my 7 year old brother picks up thr ds and beats it in 20 minutes! He got to Marx Soul in the True Arena without eating any tomatoes and almost beat Marx Soul! wth?! Why cant i do that? WHY?!?!

don't use helpers, unless if it's multiplayer because in multiplayer, they're skilled. i say it's an ok for helpers, single player, but be aware the fact that it can mess up ur objective(s) to kill the boss, like the reactor thing, & helpers rn't avaliable for bosses that require the starship for sum dumb reasons.
@ForeverHope897 Its just like a normal kirby game. Minor enemies throughout the levels with minibosses spread out. At the end of each level theres a boss. Theres a boss rush mode for the normal bosses and hard versions of the bosses called The Arena and The True Arena.

I tried Plasma.... I got to Marxsoul but I was low on health and he teloported right ontop of me killing me.... I get a lot done when I use hammer though.... almost had him then he teloported on me again. It was probably one hit away from him being dead and me hearing that very loud scream.
Wrong, Waddle Dee is the hardest Kirby boss and will always be. I can't even beat him with the Smash ability.
I kinda miss how tough Lololo and Lalala were in the original dreamland's extra game, where they'd literally be charging at you the entire time with very little time to move out of the way.

@wassup986 Much better... a lot of people say this is the best of all kirby games in history, even when it was a remake, they added a lot of cool things. Also the first game already so many games, and real games and not just minigames (it had minigames too).
here's a tip for kabula: go up close to him and fire away with the starship. it gives more damage to him because more stars go onto him plus it gives you less damage
oh, and no, the plasma wave shot is slightly weaker than the plasma barrier shot (against the computer virus, wave does 32, full charged does 40, the same amount as a normal hammer swing)
me too lol, but i preffer ssu cause i can play it on the can lol. plus, theres more to it. some abilities got uber changed though, like ninja. ninj cnt throw knives super fst anymore, yoyo got weaker, beam got a little better, umbrella stinks now, etc. i still think ninja is the worst change though.
@destroyer15001 THe parasol is about the same still for speed. Its a tiny bit slower, but now it does super crappy damage. Before it was faster, and stronger, and still sucked pretty bad. The problem is the water that comes off of it. It comes off earlier in this game, and the water is weak, so they take the hit from the water most of the time, and not the umbrella...
@knowwhoiamyet the sword attacks has been improved. what's real stupid in this game is that there's no UFO & all of those cool copy abilities that there were back in the other games, espically kirby squeak squad
@destroyer15001 I find that the sword was nerfed. Its not so fast anymore. Though, UFO was super easy to use... so were a lot of them. I never played squeek squad but I heard it sucked. In all honesty, I'm GLAD they didn't put in any of the new ones. This is just a remake of an old game. It'd be a bit much to throw in the new abilities (that I really don't like...)

I like Yo-yo, Mirror, Hammer and Paint the best and I usually don't take too much damage during the first 6 bosses. My fingers are always soar after a useing Plasma...
You know, Paint the one time ability you get from paint blobs produced by Heavy Lobster, Chameleon Arm, and Marx Soul . Its pretty sweet, but kinda useless in the true arena.

Beat the following: The Arena, Meta Knightmare Ultra, Helper to Hero, Revenge of the King...well...just anything that isn't a mini-game, if you already have the normal Arena, then just beat the ones I listed by name
nah, I'm not THAT good, as long as you can get under 10 min (try hammer) then I'm not even 2 times better (best time is just a little under 5 minutes) and I've seen some people do this in under 4 minutes O_o (with hammer)
you charge up plasma by moving around (rotating the control pad seems to do the job very quickly) and depending on how much you charge it up will determine what will be released when you press be, there are a few levels, the first sends a very weak thin line shot, the next shoots out a mini arrow almost as pathetic, the 3rd sends a more lasting short ranged spark which is decent, the 4th sends a good sized laser across the stage, and the last sends a huge ball of power across the stage
u know i beat this with stone just a few minutes agoand it took me 14:95. It a shame nobody told me about stonebefore cuz i could beat it yesterday. Now I c that when kirby uses the stone ability, he's invincible. I got lucky at the end, marx almost depleted all of my energy with that arrow attack. Also I had a hard time attacking him with stone but luckily after i had the smallest portion of energy I accidentally turned kirby into stone and marx was at that spot the same second. successs yeah.
yes you need to completely beat the Arena, if you don't care about time at all, you can beat it with Stone (in around 20 minutes or more O_o) if you can dodge attacks decently and don't mind a tired right thumb, plasma, and if your killer in close combat and dodging, hammer is the way to go
beat the Arena, and Helper to Hero (once, you don't need to beat it with every character, unless you want the secret movie)
Depends on the game actually, in this game, there is no spark ability (it's keeping the abilities from the SNES version)
but in stuff like Squeak Squad they gave Spark some similair aspects to plasma (such as the charging up to make a sheild that damages slightly that you can also use as a projectile, it's much less effecient than in this game) but overall, they're seperate abilities, like the difference between fire and burning in some games (burning's ability is part of fire in this game)
ah, sword is a very fun ability to do this game with (except against Wham Bam Jewel mabye) it's a shame you can only do a slice upward with Meta Knight and a certain blade knight

You know, Plasma may be overlooked, but Wheelie Rider is MUCH cheaper and far more obscure. Why? Because of the ability to shoot stars when riding it in 2-Player. The stars do damage equivalent to inhaling something and spitting it out, which in the latter case is fair since you have to fight bosses without powers to use it, but with Wheelie Rider, you just have to mash B a lot. Even worse, you can aim in any direction. The only downside is that it requires good teamwork between both players.
the equivilant of inhaling something and spitting it out does mid damage, it takes less plasma fully charged hits to kill a boss than that, although this is a relatively slow run (I've got a vid already 2 times faster) Wheelie was also known to have a specific glitch in the original that could be done to prevent a bosses HP bar from filling at the start, killing even Marx in less than 10 seconds, watch a few TAS's of the original, THEN you'll see the insanity of some of these powers :)
Yeah, I thought spitting did the most damage out of all the methods of attacking, but after doing so on Galacta Knight, I realized that was a poor comparison. Spitting does far less damage than I thought it did. Turns out Wheelie's stars do damage equal to or more than Up+B with Hammer. And from my tests, it most likely does more than a max-charge Plasma shot. Remember, it fires as quick as you can mash B, and can be aimed in any direction. I got 5:13:12 with it on a VERY terrible run.
i find the hammer much easier. especially when u have bonkers with u as well. I got so used to it that i can beat it any time now. i think the plasma takes a lot more time. I like close combat cause its more easier. and for kabula, you should be mostly looking at your part of the screen, not where kabula is. if u look at him you take more damage cause u get distracted. well thats how im anyway, and i dont take any damage while im doing that.the one that i take the most damage is galacta knight.
Hammer IS faster and easier overall, but I find Plasma much more enjoyable to use, on the other hand...this is a SLOW Plasma run (so the three parts wouldn't be that short) a speedy plasma run can actually rival a decent hammer player (as it is, I have a vid somewhere using hammer and getting under 5 minutes) Galacta Knight is honestly just too easy for me now, he's speedy with a lot of HP, that's it, for Kabula I look at everything on the screen, he's simple yet annoying

Again, Wheelie Rider, at least with 2 players, is by FAR the easiest and cheapest way to beat not only the True Arena, but the WHOLE GAME. Just try it with a friend sometime. Anyway, in terms of non-cheap powers, Yo-Yo is slow, but a good, safe power to use overall. You can keep your distance while dealing damage in most fights, you can use vertical attacks up close if you need to deal damage fast, and in general it's reliable. With Yo-Yo, I only really have trouble with the last two fights.
Same here when I was using Yo-Yo. The only reason I lost was because (Karl) Marx Soul just happened to teleport right on top of me while I was falling. If he had teleported anywhere else, I would've been able to finish him with a single hit. I was THAT close to finally beating the True Arena fairly (I beat it before, but I did so with my older brother, and we abused Wheelie Rider, so I don't think it counts), but unfortunately, I was just as close to death, and death happened instead of victory.

I use Beam, Mirrow, Yo-yo and hammer... paint it´s also cool, but it´s hard to obtain, so I prefer to use the one I already brought...

You know, Paint the one time ability you get from paint blobs produced by Heavy Lobster, Chameleon Arm, and Marx Soul . Its pretty sweet, but kinda useless in the true arena.

Beat the following: The Arena, Meta Knightmare Ultra, Helper to Hero, Revenge of the King...well...just anything that isn't a mini-game, if you already have the normal Arena, then just beat the ones I listed by name

nah, I'm not THAT good, as long as you can get under 10 min (try hammer) then I'm not even 2 times better (best time is just a little under 5 minutes) and I've seen some people do this in under 4 minutes O_o (with hammer)

you charge up plasma by moving around (rotating the control pad seems to do the job very quickly) and depending on how much you charge it up will determine what will be released when you press be, there are a few levels, the first sends a very weak thin line shot, the next shoots out a mini arrow almost as pathetic, the 3rd sends a more lasting short ranged spark which is decent, the 4th sends a good sized laser across the stage, and the last sends a huge ball of power across the stage

u know i beat this with stone just a few minutes agoand it took me 14:95. It a shame nobody told me about stonebefore cuz i could beat it yesterday. Now I c that when kirby uses the stone ability, he's invincible. I got lucky at the end, marx almost depleted all of my energy with that arrow attack. Also I had a hard time attacking him with stone but luckily after i had the smallest portion of energy I accidentally turned kirby into stone and marx was at that spot the same second. successs yeah.

yes you need to completely beat the Arena, if you don't care about time at all, you can beat it with Stone (in around 20 minutes or more O_o) if you can dodge attacks decently and don't mind a tired right thumb, plasma, and if your killer in close combat and dodging, hammer is the way to go
beat the Arena, and Helper to Hero (once, you don't need to beat it with every character, unless you want the secret movie)

Is plasma and spark seperate abilities or the same ability and has different names?

Depends on the game actually, in this game, there is no spark ability (it's keeping the abilities from the SNES version)
but in stuff like Squeak Squad they gave Spark some similair aspects to plasma (such as the charging up to make a sheild that damages slightly that you can also use as a projectile, it's much less effecient than in this game) but overall, they're seperate abilities, like the difference between fire and burning in some games (burning's ability is part of fire in this game)

ah, sword is a very fun ability to do this game with (except against Wham Bam Jewel mabye) it's a shame you can only do a slice upward with Meta Knight and a certain blade knight

You know, Plasma may be overlooked, but Wheelie Rider is MUCH cheaper and far more obscure. Why? Because of the ability to shoot stars when riding it in 2-Player. The stars do damage equivalent to inhaling something and spitting it out, which in the latter case is fair since you have to fight bosses without powers to use it, but with Wheelie Rider, you just have to mash B a lot. Even worse, you can aim in any direction. The only downside is that it requires good teamwork between both players.

the equivilant of inhaling something and spitting it out does mid damage, it takes less plasma fully charged hits to kill a boss than that, although this is a relatively slow run (I've got a vid already 2 times faster) Wheelie was also known to have a specific glitch in the original that could be done to prevent a bosses HP bar from filling at the start, killing even Marx in less than 10 seconds, watch a few TAS's of the original, THEN you'll see the insanity of some of these powers :)

Yeah, I thought spitting did the most damage out of all the methods of attacking, but after doing so on Galacta Knight, I realized that was a poor comparison. Spitting does far less damage than I thought it did. Turns out Wheelie's stars do damage equal to or more than Up+B with Hammer. And from my tests, it most likely does more than a max-charge Plasma shot. Remember, it fires as quick as you can mash B, and can be aimed in any direction. I got 5:13:12 with it on a VERY terrible run.

i find the hammer much easier. especially when u have bonkers with u as well. I got so used to it that i can beat it any time now. i think the plasma takes a lot more time. I like close combat cause its more easier. and for kabula, you should be mostly looking at your part of the screen, not where kabula is. if u look at him you take more damage cause u get distracted. well thats how im anyway, and i dont take any damage while im doing that.the one that i take the most damage is galacta knight.

Hammer IS faster and easier overall, but I find Plasma much more enjoyable to use, on the other hand...this is a SLOW Plasma run (so the three parts wouldn't be that short) a speedy plasma run can actually rival a decent hammer player (as it is, I have a vid somewhere using hammer and getting under 5 minutes) Galacta Knight is honestly just too easy for me now, he's speedy with a lot of HP, that's it, for Kabula I look at everything on the screen, he's simple yet annoying

Again, Wheelie Rider, at least with 2 players, is by FAR the easiest and cheapest way to beat not only the True Arena, but the WHOLE GAME. Just try it with a friend sometime. Anyway, in terms of non-cheap powers, Yo-Yo is slow, but a good, safe power to use overall. You can keep your distance while dealing damage in most fights, you can use vertical attacks up close if you need to deal damage fast, and in general it's reliable. With Yo-Yo, I only really have trouble with the last two fights.

Same here when I was using Yo-Yo. The only reason I lost was because (Karl) Marx Soul just happened to teleport right on top of me while I was falling. If he had teleported anywhere else, I would've been able to finish him with a single hit. I was THAT close to finally beating the True Arena fairly (I beat it before, but I did so with my older brother, and we abused Wheelie Rider, so I don't think it counts), but unfortunately, I was just as close to death, and death happened instead of victory.
