I have Sky Player and Win 7 media center but i can't record anything. I've heard mixed reviews that you need a tv tuner but i aslo heard you don't need one if you stream over the net.

Is this true?

You don't get you entire subscription! not by a long shot! the content choice is poor! only one music channel! no hits/vh1 kerrang! and stuff like SyFy and FX! I think you should get the whole lot on Sky player! if you can get it on you normal tv it should be on Sky player!

I use Sky player on Media centre! it is amazing! all the providers should use media player! BBCi 40d and ITV player would all hugely benefit from the Media centre interface!

EXISTING SKY CUSTOMER:

If U already subscribe to Sky TV, u can watch TV shows on demand from the channels ur able to access on UR Sky Box. For recent shows they won't charge u anything extra. u can also choose from an extensive library ofolder programmes to rent or buy.

NON SKY:

U can watch Sky TV programmes without a dish, box or contract. monthly subscription has a selection of catch-up programmes to watch on demand. Or U can just rent or buy individual SHOWS when Ulike, no commitment.

nice so is the content streamed over the net or do you need a digital tv tuner and a skybox? I have multiroom but would love sky on PC in my bedroom where i dont have room for another skybox
