@planotxable Do you mean without anyone catching you or snacks that are good for you. Safe snacks to eat throughout the day that will keep your blood sugar in control and help you to not gain weight include nuts, cottage cheese, low fat greek yogurt, lean turkey burgers, etc.
Holla! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate lost tons of weight with it.
@planotxable If you're on a budget you really need to plan ahead and shop for the least expensive sources of lean proteins, carbs and veggies. That usually means buying in bulk and unfortunately, eating some of the same things repetitively. If you search "cheap whey" you'll find some 5 pound options for $30. That's a lot of cheap meals. Buy brown rice in bulk can be as cheap as $75 for a 50 pound bag. Buy in bulk, cook in bulk. :)

I'm not aware there is any real scientific evidence that says eating six times a day actually increases your metabolism. I think its bull. please correct me if I am wrong. the only way to lose the weight is to workout for hours and keep the calories down.

I think your statement that "its bull" assumes that the video's premise is that you need to eat six times a day to lose weight or that this is THE answer to metabolic change. In any event, there is scientific proof that eating uses as much as 10% of the calories we eat (to digest, etc.). Eating smaller meals more frequently means you cause this to happen throughout the day. There are other reasons to eat 6 times a day such as stable blood sugar.
@MyBodySiteTV Additionally, we don't claim that you have to eat 6 times a day to achieve a weight loss or muscle building goal. But time after time, the people who achieve their goals are much more likely to be able to manage their calories and nutrient timing by dividing up their calories for the day into smaller meals. If you don't need to do that to manage your weight, kudos to you. But for most, it is a great way to manage diet and fitness.

i have watched the plates she ate in and allthough they are flat they still are quite big,are there only 400 calories in there,cause from what i saw the meals were actually quite big as in volume and also in calories.
@planotxable That's great that you can remain fit and thin with just 3 meals a day. For many people, controlling their urge to snack on the wrong foods due to fluctuations in blood sugar, makes it very difficult to maintain a sensible eating plan on just 3 meals during the day. Are you saying that you only eat three times a day and you don't eat anything else all day? If that's the case, you have much stronger will power than most.
@Jahkillian That's a pretty typical reaction but the truth is that if you are working out properly with intense resistance training, and eating clean, whole foods, you are using all of that food for fuel. Without "going there", no this does not cause you to go to the bathroom four times a day. LOL :)

How much do you reduce in your meals?
Also, how do you feel in your cutting stage? I'm hungry all the time, and my stomach gets bloated with gas from starvation.. lol Do you feel like shit too, when cutting?
@Jahkillian We can't give you specific nutritional advice but I think everything hates the way they feel when they're cutting. Continuing to eat the same number of meals will help you not to want to kill anyone. You'll need to calculate your caloric needs in order to figure out how much to reduce your meal sizes and portions.
@MyBodySiteTV Thanks. I understand that but do you keep the same strength and energy when you start your cutting diet? For example if you do HIT for 30 minutes 3 times a week for 30 minutes and you know what your heart rate is and RPM, do you keep it the same when you diet or does your body natural say 'I can't do that any more, I don't have the energy" My problem is I seem to only be able to keep it up, if I take a fat burning thermo.
@MyBodySiteTV lol 4 times? more like 10 times a day but it works out pretty well if you work from home lol. It is quite true though what she says--I know it from my own experience. I used to skip breakfast at one point and go long hours w/o eating and eat a lot of processed stuff--things I considered healthy like 100 calorie snacks, several yoplait lights, lean pockets--all fine in terms of calories but processed (yoplait LIGHT tho delicious contains hfcs) sugary, and salty. and I got nowhere.

@doddsalfa You may be right about burning more calories. I have read many articles on this and the conclusion regarding metabolic change from 5-6 meals, as opposed to 3-4 is mixed.
One thing that there is consensus on is that spreading your calories out over more frequent meals does result in a higher likelihood of stable blood sugar levels. @Jahkillian This was an off day so yes, I went to the beach, but many people, including me, maintain this schedule for eating, every day. Instead of the beach, you would have this food packed for work. It takes time to prepare on the weekends.
I've been having spinach omelettes lately! I use cabbage instead of pasta and noodles. And I recently started getting the shirataki noodles. On a completely note...I like the way you dress! ;-)
Wow! great body. I'm not into really muscular women, but she is beautiful, and feminine. This is the way a fitness model should look like! Much better than the stereotype i had in my head of women bodybuilders with men's voices due to steroid use. This lady is all natural and heathy.
@reptilianskin If you think she is all natural then you are sorely mistaken. As a figure competitor she had to pack on more muscles. You can definitely tell her voice is a little deep now. This video was back in 2009 and she wasn't a pro yet. I've met Ava and her fiance in person before and they're nice people. My fiancee competes and is always around these IFBB Pros plus we go to all the big shows.
@niospecv That's unfortunate. To go from a clean diet, healthy eating, and daily exercise to adding steriods for the rapid muscle gains. Her body is her living so she's deemed it necessary, but not a healthy and sustainable lifestyle to say the least.
@niospecv : yeah, I saw a documentary called " bigger, stronger, faster" and it talked about steroids use in both athletics and body building competitions. I even remember of a comment a pro body builder said, " that it is a fantasy to believe that working out hard, eating good, and being able to compete at your best Without a steroids. Is going to get anybody far." The fact is, most people who are part of that field use them, legal forms of it as well.
@niospecv yes, I thought the very same. I've been training for 2 years or so now, just clean eating and weights, and the muscle gains are very slow, which comes with the territory of being a woman. I thought the very same thing you did--same thing about the voice. Also, I think she has implants--going down to low body fat % means almost a flat chest, which is unfortunate, so I guess most figure athletes get implants. not to mention the impact of steroids on female pattern fat storage.

@Damnationization the protein myth is bs, proganda. nothing more. protein is in everything, and better yet, grains fruits and veggies have protein and fiber. theres plenty vegan body builders and athletes. look em up. and if your consuming no meat, if your smart you will fill that gap with leafy greens, with provide amazing amounts of vitamins minerals and nutrients.
@hilldominator27 "None" of the top bodybuilders are vegan. You don't get enough from fruits and vegetables. Nuts do have protein. Brach Warren dosn't even consume vegetables. I am natural and do know that meat honestly is the best thing for conversion into muscle. Nothing against vegans.

The fighters that are able to train the longest, hardest and are winning the most are vegetarians.
Recently a lot of MMA fighters switched to a vegetarian diet because so many have been losing to these guys.

@Damnationization this information actually made major headlines. Major newspapers, magazines and the nightly news reported this occurrence. I doubt it was a vegan diet however, I do know many switched to a vegetarian diet due to the lengths of time their vegetarian competition are able to train which is absurdly longer. We're talking 8-12 hours vs 3-4.
Bottom line is, meat does not break down well unless you're talking about fish. You'll also find fish has more protein than mammals.
@JonDeth I looked up MMA diets and I could not find any such thing about them being vegetarian. They seam to eat high protein diets. Meat is the closest thing to muscle. I am natural/strong and I take in alot of protein. I also have excellent muscle endurance.I try to learn about health based topics to better myself.
Your body is deconstructing the meat. It is deconstructing it to remove what it needs and expel what is unneeded as waste. Your body knows no difference between a high protein bean and a slab of beef in terms of digestion. It merely disassembles the cells for absorption.
It's much harder for your body to break down the meat. In fact it can't fully break it down. Meanwhile the bean is digested in a fraction of the time.
@JonDeth Yes that is true, but a bean dos not have certain nutrients that meat dos. Such as amino acids, vitamins, and so forth. Its also true that most people in the US don't chew there meat enough for ample absorption. Meat also contains the aminoe acid carnitine and creatine. Good for building muscle. How do I know I am a avid natural weight lifter.
Meat has no true nutritional value beyond the protein. Everything you are attempting to acquire from meat is based on the animal having gotten an ample supply of through IT'S diet and you are now absorbing 2nd or even 3rd hand. A plant creates vitamin A, and many other nutrients, you absorb them directly rather than relying on the animal having had a supply through it's diet. And chewing in the US?
@Damnationization if you had 2 separate tons of gold that were identical in every way and only a shovel to get to one. No pick axe, no jack hammer, no back hoe or dynamite. Would rather dig for the gold under 5 feet of soil or, would you rather dig for the gold buried 10 feet down under rock, clay and sand?

@MandragGanon Generally, you would be looking at a pre-cooked weight if you're tracking your calories but most calorie counting programs on the market will give you the option to count by cooked or uncooked.

@Jahkillian This was an off day so yes, I went to the beach, but many people, including me, maintain this schedule for eating, every day. Instead of the beach, you would have this food packed for work. It takes time to prepare on the weekends.

I've been having spinach omelettes lately! I use cabbage instead of pasta and noodles. And I recently started getting the shirataki noodles. On a completely note...I like the way you dress! ;-)

Wow! great body. I'm not into really muscular women, but she is beautiful, and feminine. This is the way a fitness model should look like! Much better than the stereotype i had in my head of women bodybuilders with men's voices due to steroid use. This lady is all natural and heathy.

@reptilianskin If you think she is all natural then you are sorely mistaken. As a figure competitor she had to pack on more muscles. You can definitely tell her voice is a little deep now. This video was back in 2009 and she wasn't a pro yet. I've met Ava and her fiance in person before and they're nice people. My fiancee competes and is always around these IFBB Pros plus we go to all the big shows.

@niospecv That's unfortunate. To go from a clean diet, healthy eating, and daily exercise to adding steriods for the rapid muscle gains. Her body is her living so she's deemed it necessary, but not a healthy and sustainable lifestyle to say the least.

@niospecv : yeah, I saw a documentary called " bigger, stronger, faster" and it talked about steroids use in both athletics and body building competitions. I even remember of a comment a pro body builder said, " that it is a fantasy to believe that working out hard, eating good, and being able to compete at your best Without a steroids. Is going to get anybody far." The fact is, most people who are part of that field use them, legal forms of it as well.

@niospecv yes, I thought the very same. I've been training for 2 years or so now, just clean eating and weights, and the muscle gains are very slow, which comes with the territory of being a woman. I thought the very same thing you did--same thing about the voice. Also, I think she has implants--going down to low body fat % means almost a flat chest, which is unfortunate, so I guess most figure athletes get implants. not to mention the impact of steroids on female pattern fat storage.

@hilldominator27 "None" of the top bodybuilders are vegan. You don't get enough from fruits and vegetables. Nuts do have protein. Brach Warren dosn't even consume vegetables. I am natural and do know that meat honestly is the best thing for conversion into muscle. Nothing against vegans.

@Damnationization your opinion is completely contradicted by MMA right now.
The fighters that are able to train the longest, hardest and are winning the most are vegetarians.
Recently a lot of MMA fighters switched to a vegetarian diet because so many have been losing to these guys.
Meat is THE WORST protein source and if you knew anything about the digestion process and our inability to properly break down meat, you wouldn't be spewing this garbage.

I enjoy vegetables. I am not sure about MMA fighters but I honestly want to find out if what you say is true. Vegans are extreme in their diet. @Damnationization this information actually made major headlines. Major newspapers, magazines and the nightly news reported this occurrence. I doubt it was a vegan diet however, I do know many switched to a vegetarian diet due to the lengths of time their vegetarian competition are able to train which is absurdly longer. We're talking 8-12 hours vs 3-4.
Bottom line is, meat does not break down well unless you're talking about fish. You'll also find fish has more protein than mammals.

@JonDeth I looked up MMA diets and I could not find any such thing about them being vegetarian. They seam to eat high protein diets. Meat is the closest thing to muscle. I am natural/strong and I take in alot of protein. I also have excellent muscle endurance.I try to learn about health based topics to better myself.

Your body is deconstructing the meat. It is deconstructing it to remove what it needs and expel what is unneeded as waste. Your body knows no difference between a high protein bean and a slab of beef in terms of digestion. It merely disassembles the cells for absorption.
It's much harder for your body to break down the meat. In fact it can't fully break it down. Meanwhile the bean is digested in a fraction of the time.
Meat is a poor protein.

@JonDeth Yes that is true, but a bean dos not have certain nutrients that meat dos. Such as amino acids, vitamins, and so forth. Its also true that most people in the US don't chew there meat enough for ample absorption. Meat also contains the aminoe acid carnitine and creatine. Good for building muscle. How do I know I am a avid natural weight lifter.

Meat has no true nutritional value beyond the protein. Everything you are attempting to acquire from meat is based on the animal having gotten an ample supply of through IT'S diet and you are now absorbing 2nd or even 3rd hand. A plant creates vitamin A, and many other nutrients, you absorb them directly rather than relying on the animal having had a supply through it's diet. And chewing in the US?
