  • Oh no. 0:58, the attack of the farting monsters.

  • Man, Spookies trailer. This is the first I have seen it, and I have it on VHS. I was a teenager throughout much of the 80s, and as several people have said, they don't make them like this anymore. But starting with Friday The 13th, that when the big boom of horror films in the 80s started.

  • 0:44 MAMMA!lol

  • There are 2 things that screw a horror film, bad acting and bad special effects ... the 80s had it both!!!! hahahahaha

  • 80's cheese at its best

  • GARBAGE DAY ha ha ha

  • God I get such a hard-on for practical effects (well done practical effects anyway). Give me a decent mask,make-up job, animatronic, puppet or stop motion model any day. CGI can look great, don't get me wrong, but only if there's a big budget behind it. Otherwise, go back to practical you numbnuts! I'd rather see something that looks tangible, if a little hokey, than something from a fucking video game!

  • Do you have the the courage to see . . . Demons?

Yes, yes I do. I even have the courage to buy the director's cut for Demons and its sequel.

    Yaay multi-colored ultra-slime!

  • I'm italian and I love the demon's series. What a soundtrack!

  • Great watch! 80s horror is badass.

  • This is INCREDIBLE!!!! LOVE IT!!!! :)

  • SIMPLY FANTASTIC MATE this brought back so many memories and helped with a few title problems . spot on 10/10

  • 1.07 great rack!!!

  • They give away everything in trailers now, it's like watching the entire film. But All of these were pretty long, yet I still wasn't quite sure of the plots of the ones I haven't seen. THAT is how you make a movie trailer...

  • The Silent Night, Deadly Night series always scared the sh*t out of me!

  • i love 80's horrow films. to me its the most unique and trend setting era for the genre. also i was born during that decade and im nostalgic for the old stuff. i love how it looks and the scary monsters and everything. the box art for some of those films are even scary.

  • too many 80,s horror movies to fit in just 10 min.

lots of them nobodys ever heard of before exept true horror fans!!

  • I LOVE 80'S HORROR!

  • GARBAGE DAY! lol

  • Seriously great video, man. It makes me wanna get the Silent Night, Deadly Night triple pack.

  • Why is there a HELICOPTER?

;) Good video as always mate.

  • Man I love 80's horror films! The trailers back then were so spoiler heavy but SO fun to watch! It had a lot to do with the guys doing the voice overs on the trailers, they always said the corniest stuff! But for some reason it always made every trailer that much more interesting & fun to watch. It takes a true horror fan to appreciate all trailers from the good old days. Back then trailers made you excited to see the movies. This is an excellent vid Darron!! Fav'd my friend! :)

  • @quis666

    Thanks buddy :)

It's a tired cliche, but they truly don't make them like they used to!! In fact, it was the trailers and promos on video tapes that twisted our fragile minds as kids to seek out this stuff. Better still were the video covers and cover art, which were 100 times better back in those days.

  • love that Demons soundtrack. Accept, Saxon, some pretty heavy stuff. brilliant compilation, cheers

  • @Love4SK

Thanks man. Demons soundtrack is brilliant for its time.

  • Aussieroadshow Do You Happen To Have Any Disney Trailers That Where Taken From Home Videos Made By Roadshow Home Video In Australia Becuase You Know Roadshow Home Video Distributed Disney Movies In Australia

  • @ILoveLogos75

I got lots of Disney trailers but I have no plans to add any.

  • This is why i love 80s horror the total cheese and one liners have never been better and the trailers were superb....Awesome video..

  • @lucio1zfe

    80s horror forever I reckon :)

  • Sorry to say it but Spookies really sucked. It was 2 movies crammed into one film and it shows

  • @flatcapman

I enjoyed watching Spookies again. It's so bad it's fantastic.

I tell you one 80s flick that still holds up well is Pumpkinhead. Watched it again after nearly 20 years and it's still great entertainment.

  • @AussieRoadshow Sorry Aussie I just didnt see the point since its an all killed film. They might had well had bared their necks and said slice at the start and saved the viewer the trouble but it certainly wasnt as horrible as April fools day.

  • Most of these films are RATED R!!!!!

  • @pandaeyes42 Spookies and Bloody new year were M rated

  • The spookies soundtrack was amazing

  • This is the reason I love horror. It's freakin awesome. I get way overjoyed watching the stuff! Epic trailer comp, Darron!

  • @MADPUPPETDETH

Thanks Lori. It's great looking back on 80s horrors now, compared to when you first saw them. It never matches the memories!!

  • Trailers were so corny but great in those days they seem to really hype up the movie more effectively than today's horror films

  • spookies i love this film im looking for a copy of that film damm it lol thats a child hood favorite movie any way great trailers mate later shane

  • @shane80s

I watched Spookies again recently. Man it's so bad it's great! Hope you find that old tape soon. I'll keep my eyes peeled in my secret local sources :)

  • Nice one

  • Hey, mate - awesome stuff.

    Spookies...hahaha.

Demons music...I think the music by Rick Springfield is probably just as scarry as

    the film. ;-)

SNDL - gotta get that dvd. I think it's available as a double feature.

    Cheers.

  • @hairylittlewombat The Silent Night, Deadly Night double feature is out-of-print. It goes for some crazy amounts on Amazon/

  • @hairylittlewombat

I watched SNDN2 last night some 20 years after first seeing it. It is quite a nasty piece of work for what it's worth. No wonder it was banned in Queensland!! I think the UK banned it as well.

  • More of these please!

  • Superb.

  • Garbage day!

  • @acceptthis01 6:52 I can't believe they showed so much of that scene!
